I imagine that dissing us Hustlers is a fond tradition dating back to our first tour of duty in Pro (S6-S10), and boy did we deserve it back then. But these days we just shrug that stuff off and keep on winning, for the most part.

We've been busting our humps over here, going from 4-12 two seasons ago to 13-3 and a playoff W this season. We know we don't suck, and so do the smarter guys around here. But the ruse of us still sucking no matter what we do is kinda funny.

People just mad cause we pulled off some sweet upsets despite never having a 10+ man GM/SCouting department. HKH has always had just 2 people doing all the work in any given season. We also earned our way to PRO, twice. There are a ton of teams that cannot lay claim to that.

Taking two quality teams and merging is straight up horseshit. Filling vacant spots and recruiting is what any team sport is about. Combining two teams is unrealistic except in simball because there is no way it would work in the real world. You can't buy championships.

IMHO. it's quitting to merge two teams together. You can call it "smart business" but to me it's just cheap, lame, and phony.

did not game plan for...

one game. Changed the AI and changed plays but not for any specific team. Should not have lost as many games but knew we'd make the playoffs on talent alone & w/ the new system of playoff revenue - did not care about seeding.

See the post above. It could have been worse. Did not account for your blitz at all and could have. But, you guys have come a long way and we'll be worried about you next season. That game was a little too close.

Tell that to the Miami Heat, New York Yankees and Chelsea Blue. Ain't nobody quitting. Trust me, I'm as excited about the Monks team for next season as I was for this one. And the Smurfs will be extremely good. The Monks do not quit or rebuild, they reload. Every season. Book it. We can afford to give the Smurfs some players b/c the Royal Family has a deep and well orchestrated farm system. And none of the farm teams is on auto pilot. Each one has coordinators and all but one of the 10 or so teams made the playoffs w/ a few still in them. And I oversee the personnel for almost every one of those teams. And we can recruit what we need if someone goes awol b/c we are just that damn good.

If a team/agent wants to diss the Smurfs or Monks, that is their prerogative. I don't find any merit in it.
