Well, it's based off of overall experiences. I mean even from an objective standpoint (I'm not a baseball fan so this is made easy) I can discern that New York fans >>>>> Boston fans, but the standard isn't that high. Not a HS dropout? Not a racist? congrats you make Boston fans look like dunces.

The Bears have possibly the worst fanbase in all of sports however.

Perhaps it's because I'm from the midwest, but I find the Bears fanbase infinitely more tolerable than the Patriots/Steelers/Dolphins/Jets. I admit bias there though.

New york is more dedicated and even though we throw players under the bus fairly quickly, we support our teams 100%. We don't destroy cars, throw beer (or let kids drink it in the stands), or throw snowballs at our team or opposing teams.

Pats are the worst. Steelers, er they're passionate, but I lived in Pittsburgh for a while and I hate the Steelers a lot more now than I did beforehand. The Jets get brought down by Jersey douchebags. Dolphins fanbase seems pretty neutral.

Steelers fans are cool, I've got no problem with them. This is even with me going to the Steelers/Skins preseason game last year where Steelers guys waved those fucking towels everywhere and said "SIXBURGH SIXBURGH!!"

They weren't worse than other fans. Giants fans are fucking stupid. Like literally, that's a low IQ fanbase right there.

Steelers fans are knowledgeable and they care regardless of how good the team is, but they can get annoying if you're around them all day, every day.....

UGH. Every Giant fan I've met on forums has been pretty cool, but when I went to the NFC Championship Game in GB, those motherfuckers were AWFUL.

Anytime you have New Jersey dilute your fanbase, it will produce horrible results.
