UPDATE:

LVL 21

speed- 58.48
agility- 40.58
jumping- 27.9
vision- 32.58
confidence- 18.42
catching- 38.6
tackling- 32.2

Special Abilities:
-shutdown corner-
Swat Ball: 2
Sticky Hands: 2
Super Vision: 1
Smooth Operator: 1

-speedster-
First Step: 1
Change Direction: 2
Return Specialist: 2
Blitz: 1

currently training: confidence

When I level up next I think I should add 2 to return specialist(which will make it 3) then add the rest of my skill points(3) to vision.

Once I get my vision to a 40, agility to a 45, and speed to a 65, I am going to work mainly on just getting up my special abilities.

any thoughts?

I would get agility to the soft cap, 48, not to 45. Then vision to 48, then do what you want with speed. Then work on your SAs.

Your special abilities are spread very thinly, and probably not having much effect. I'd only worry about getting agility and vision to those points (not speed - just focus equipment onto it), and maybe ease them down a bit to get working on the specials sooner. Also, you haven't been doing any returns this season, so why invest there? If you want to go the returning/blitzing route, then fair enough, but focus more points into those specials.. if you want to shut down (and your stats look like you've been doing that pretty well), forget about them completely.

I haven't been KR/PR this season cause our coach already has a good returner and I am trying to help out in any way for our team and I told him that if we were playing a scrub team and 1 of our returners had really low energy then I could come in and Return for that game.

I am trying to get agility and vision up the most too.

I sold some equipment then I re-bought it and put different attributes in. I am going to do that with catching as soon as I get enough money.

Wow I have to bump this. All the way down at the bottom of the page. Ok, guys after last game, Malcolm leveled up, and I just got enough referral points last night to boost him. So, here are his updated skills:

Strength: 15.44 Blocking: 7
Speed: 61.06 Tackling: 32.64
Agility: 48.16 Throwing: 7
Jumping: 28.48 Catching: 38.18
Stamina: 40.17 Carrying: 15.44
Vision: 35.74 Kicking: 10
Confidence: 20.78 Punting: 9

Special Abilities are the same. I am currently training vision right now. What do you guys think?

Also, How high should I get vision? I am thinking about only getting it to about 40-42. Agility and Speed I am hoping to get both over 60. And then I am really going to work on the Special Abilities a lot! Especially the Shutdown Corner abilities. I need some help and feedback.

BTW, lat game I had another INT. That makes 5 on the season. How do people break them for long gains? I think the longest INT I have ever had was 4 yards or something. They are usually 0-2 yard returns. Do I need agility for that since it is acceleration?

thanks

Don't put anymore points into stamina, confidence, tackling, or catching. Train on strength up to 20 and keep putting all your points into vision until you hit the soft cap. You seem to be eager to start putting points into SAs, but you need to get your physical abilities in order first. I wouldn't be concerned about not having a lot of int returns for tds. A lot of it depends on luck, and they just don't seem to happen that often.

At the least it will help your tackling and I have a suspicion that it helps break up passes where the receiver has it in their grip and you rip it away from his grasp.

since raising my strength i've found i've been able to help out against the run a little more

OK guys! HERE IS A BIG UPDATE! Malcolm Jenkins leveled up once and I boosted him twice. Here they are:

Lvl 24

strength- 15.63
speed- 63.31
agility- 51.41
jumping- 28.73
stamina- 40.42
vision- 40.41
confidence- 20.97
tackling- 32.38
catching- 38.43

I have equipment on speed and agility. Mainly on speed though. Here is my gameplan:

Get speed to a 70
Get agility to a 60
Get jumping to a 35
Get vision to the soft cap
Get strength to a 25

I am currently training strength

Also, I am returning now for my team and I noticed last game I returned I didn't do like what I was expecting. I have over a 60 speed, over a 50 agility, and over a 40 vision. I was thinking I would break some long ones, but my longest was like 31 yards or something.

I really want to make some Game Breaking Runs and be a dominant returner as well as a shutdown Corner.

any advice?

I'm not sure you can be both. You can be a return guy and play nickle, or be a shutdown corner and not return.

I see your are training STR, so that's good. STR is going to help you break blocks from the WR's, and they don't have much, so I'd say 20-22 is good enough. Put points into vision until soft cap and then work speed/agility.

well, I am not trying to brag, but for the most part I am already a shutdown corner. I don't give up many receptions and hardly ever someone scores a TD on me. I am not saying I am a dominant CB, but for my League, I am for the most part. So, I don't think I need to work that much more on my Shutdown Corner skills. I just need to find a great build for being a sensational returner. How high should I get my return specialist too? Cause once I get vision to the soft cap, I am going to start to put points into Return Specialist. I am thinking around 5 is good. Right now I have 2. Speed is going to go up over time, cause whenever I level up I get a little bit into speed and plus when I hit the lvl 32 upgrades, I am putting all into speed and agility.

One more question.... Will strength help me break tackles on returns? If so, I am going to get it a little higher than 20-22. Probably 25-30. Then I will be fast, quick, and strong!
