On a sad note, my team (Philadelphia Brokebacks) lost one of our offensive cooridnator and most active agents Vetteman to a heart attack today. He was not only the agent to our starting SS and a #3 WR, he was the father to our starting LB whose best friend is our starting CB. This has hit are team pretty hard.

Needless to say there's alot of 'win one for the gipper' talk but we are playing one of if not the leagues most talented team in Alpine. I'm not making such talk as this being a game emotions aren't likely to be included in the sim.

Ask that your prayers go out to the two youngsters on our team who Vetteman seemed to be a role model towards. I didn't know him well, but he was a standup guy who knew this was just a game.

my prayers go out to him and his family. im sorry your team has to cope with that loss as well. its sad to see someone who has the same passion and hobbies as us go, but its even sadder to lose a father, a husband, and a friend. i wish nothing but the best for your team and the mans family. goodluck this game, and the rest of the season.

If i am not mistaken you are new to this league right? you were demoted starting this season? I respectfully suggest that you learn something about our league before you start spouting accusations and calling people out you ignorant moron.

This entire team falls COMPLETELY under Borts sportsmanlike team rules. There was not a SINGLE STARTER ADDED THIS LAST OFF SEASON. We signed three players in the offseason, one of which belonged to the owner, and all three of which were at or under the league average to be used for depth. This team is home grown starting at the offseason following SEASON ONE. No one on Akron was brought down from a higher level league, no one from Akron was taken out a high league to be used as a ringer. All were signed as FAs at a strong but still average levels a LONG TIME AGO.

If you took the time to familierize yourself with BBB #14 by reading the forum posts about all the ringers that had been brought here last season you would realize that myself as well as many of the other owners in BBB #14 where one of the DRIVING FORCES behind Bort instituting the sportsmanship rules to make things more fair.

Its not Akron's fault that your team is sucking hind tit. I take full responsibility for Akron being staffed by a group of dedicated GLB'ers many of who are so invested in it that they obsessively work their builds, train, and boost either with their own hard earned dollars or even harder earned referral flex points. I will not apologize for that at all, nor will I apologize when our team of patiently developed, VERY SPORTSMANLIKE, maniacs smoke your ass come week 14. You guys got here Akron welcomed you like everyone else here. Now I will welcome Akrons impending week 14 win against your Tokers (Tokers from Soldiers? Yeah because being a pot head is something to be proud of, just ask Ricky Williams) even more.

I wonder if us Nungas will get moved up for the game we just played against the Seawolves. Should of won, just got screwed by the sim having us kick the game winning FG with 31 secs left, and then they go and make a 52 yarder...

You guys played a solid game and had a 6-0 lead going into the second quarter. Luckily for us we were able to turn it around and keep our streak of games without allowing a TD going.

How about Oakyville's heartbreaking loss to Anchorage, New Orleans taking down Richmond, and Klamath Falls upsetting Tampa. Some good storylines from week 3. North Carolina also 3-0. Omaha handles Albuquerque with ease...new rankings coming soon
