To be honest, if anything, that guy is overrated. If he's on a team that's so ridiculously more advanced than any other team in the conference, then he shouldn't be throwing 2 INTs to a team they beat 51-3. It should be easy for him to play like an absolute stud, and he isn't. So either he is:

we do pass alot

Basil and our Wr's have been our offense the last couple of seasons, with aging or too young HB's and O-line Basil and our WR's have put up some great numbers and kept us in most games, even though being pressured or sacked silly.

Also no offense taken Victory, the Skullcrushers have never done anything more in the pros to be considered nothing better than a lower middle of the pack team.

Basil Mcrae is the most underrated QB in SEAPL.

+1 to OP. This guy is vastly overlooked. Sometime WL players get stuck on teams that never find their way out of Pro (see Labbatt, Smurfs, Winona Warriors for plenty of examples.) This is one of these guys. Great dot captaining a team that just hasn't had what it takes to get to the next level - Kind of a Barry Sanders in Detroit type of thing.. you admire and pity him at the same time.

I'd say this happens a LOT... too often

And not just to the Blue/Wino/Smurf ladder... but tons of teams.

if Basil played on any of the teams that had winning records last season, hes the league MVP...
