Clearly you must not have read my entire post. My statement is more global, if agents knew how to game one aspect of the system, they likely knew how to game others. Easiest way to deal with it is remove the players from the SIM as a whole. LOL at banning agents but letting their players continue on.

And I gave Jam their props, indicated I wasn't calling Dpride a cheater.... and I hope we get to play them again.

Not sure why you resorted to name calling, but, none the less...move along....nothing to see here...

Because that is such a ridiculous claim, because they found 1 bug they must have 100 others waiting in the woodwork to use.

Not that its my argument but ... (oh well) The guys didnt find a bug they cheated. If they are cheating they sure would be looking for ways to cheat. In other words if there is a will there is a way, they wanted to be the best soooo bad that they tried it all. They may have found other stuff that has not been uncovered.

They found and exploited a bug that was not supposed to be there.

Idk even know why PT (don't think he was controlling his acct towards the end) would need +2 to an attribute when he already had the best players in the game.

They are banned, what else could they have found that isn't uncovered? They can't even log into this game anymore.

It's pretty clear if CB/NBA wants to lose the taint you need to release the banned agents' players. Otherwise anyone you beat will assume you're in bed with cheaters which doesn't do you guys justice.

Shouldn't even be their choice, tbh. It should be GLB policy that if you are perma-banned for cheating all of the players associated to that account are immediately retired. That way it isn't up to the teams to decide what to do. If you have a 30 day temp ban then your players should just be removed from their teams...consider it a suspension, anything less than that just leave the players as is.

So you're saying ban the agent and all his dots, even the dots who didn't use the cheat (like on this one)... basically destroying the entire season for those teams and agents and GMs who had nothing to do with it, and don't condone what they did?

no

zero tolerance...only way to curb cheating is to kick everyone in the jimmy as hard as possible so they turn on themselves when someone is a scumbag cheater

Yes that is what he is saying.

Look at this way: you may destroy one teams season (this season) but how many teams (agents) have been destroyed in previous seasons because of this "hacked" eq.

This is GLB's version of Steriods in Baseball; and like baseball GLB is getting a big failure on the handling of it.

Very few to none, because the hack was found by one agent at the end of last season... he shared it with two others in the offseason, all three were banned and only a small percentage of their dots had used it. They ran a script to see which dots had the hacked eq, pretty simple, case closed, no seasons were destroyed... maybe a game or two with an incredibly slight disadvantage for one team.

So you're saying that, hypothetically if a talent agent represented someone who used steroids then all the players he represented should be banned from the game even if they didn't use them? And all the teams who housed those players should suffer because why? Because they should have known that a player on a different team by the same talent agent used steroids? Losing a player or multiple players is a pretty big deal once the season started, having a +4 attribute bonus for one player is not really that huge (again I'm not condoning it at all, but still it's pretty slight)

Anyway what's done is done... sorry if we're somehow guilty by association in your eyes.

Cheers

it's over with; I say move on..the jam have always been good; regardless of any exploits by 1 agent so I doubt the outcomes of any games were decided by said eq. exploit

huh...sounds like there's some typical "three strikes" liberal democrat sentiments here. never has three strikes been a deterrent. warts and all, the death penalty is the only answer to controlling the sh*theads.

obviously edit and apply the above statements to GLB accordingly.

zero tolerance...dispatch with extreme prejudice all the cheaters and let the honorable sportsmen continue to enjoy playing the game.
