Figuring out what coaching "settings" will work best with what and when will be even more varied aspects of play that people into the shell game of match ups will enjoy tinkering with.

If its an interesting enough challenge people will reactivate their old heroes to do it. If not, then owners will have an added expense to get their own vets out to turn into coaches, or do without.

For my part, I like the idea that I can trot out my old guys for some more seasons, and will have more game choices to make.

Not that I have time for half the ones we already have LOL.

the problem is you are losing and in some cases lost the casual gamer. Just looking at the lack of leagues now is almost shocking. 20 of the 32 AA leagues are gone now. In just that division you are looking at nearly a 63% reduction in players from probably a year ago. At any level in the minors you have only 9 leagues so there is no one coming to fill that slack and that actually seems to be a huge reduction in future players. I believe that also reduced as not that long ago you have 4 Elite Minor Leagues and now most have 1 at the most.

I think it is somewhat safe to say this site has lost 50% of the players they had a year ago and given these changes and complicating of the game I expect that number to go higher.

I've been hearing about 'hardcore' leagues coming out soon with even more options. It already took me hours to setup my auto training on all my players.

I personally really like what they have done... The Equipment is very cool, the training is ok, I think it needs a boost as you upgrade it. The flash replay is very cool imo and the stadium stuff I don't think is overwhelming..

Agreed, the auto-training is the best addition. At first I was skeptical but I like how things have come together.

Sorry, but there is no way you are going to justify the addition of coaches to this game to me as anything other than another way to make money. All these new changes require agents, GMs, owner, etc. to spend more time on the game, if not more money. Recruiting players is time consuming enough, I'm not looking forward to trying to recruit coaches as well. How many people actually want to spend money to create coaches? To me the fun of being an agent is watching the players in games, seeing their stats, etc. All things you can't do with a coach.

Nah, we are the owners eating the fancy sammiches and sipping champagne in the stands while mingling, at a distance, with the common folk or walking our dogs on the field and puffing cubans while they lift a leg on the goal post.

Coaches are proper characters in the game, pieces to be played.

Did we lose players?

Or cash farm teams owned by people in networks to feed higher leagued clubs, cash farms that are no longer worth having?

Yeah. Should be weeks without touching much of it now.

Okay days

But Days will seem like hours

Or whatever Spock said.
