Ok,
Here is my formula:
You gain your opponent's wins (only the ones you played!!!), and absorb their losses. That gives you the Power1 ranking criteria. the basis of the overall ranking.
Then that number is divided by their SPower:
(E-908.3)
------------- =SPower
(Delta)
E is the average effective level SP value of that team
908.3 is the effective level median constant i have figured out for world league
Delta is another formula in itself:
Delta= (D*Da)/(103 + DE)
D is the square root of the total number of players in decline
Da are the total days of the players in decline
103 is the diminishing decline constant
DE is the number of players in decline
So the overall formula is this:
Power ranking number =Power1/[ (E-908.3)/[(D*DA)/(103-DE)]]
The Coriolis effect will have an effect on these rankings depending on the conference you are from. Alpha rankings will be top down, and zeta rankings will be bottom up.
Anyone have any problems with this? Sorry the formula looks confusing, it looks really simple when it is on MathCad.
--DanInteresting formula, I can't wait to see how the numbers turn out once things really get going.
