Ouch, one of the biggest upsets I've seen...what happened?

They boosted everyone right before the game.

Look at average levels and you'll know what happened.

Ed doesn't boost (or do CEQ). He wins on great builds that match up and great tactics.

  I wasn't expecting to go Gold, just didn't expect to lose in the first round. I knew I wouldn't get past Solway in the 2nd round, seeing as they completely boosted as well. This pretty much ends any thought of a Non-boosting team ever winning a championship. Since I don't like the fact that bad teams can win just because they spend more money, I don't think I will be fielding a competitive team any longer, there just isn't any point.

I was never considering boosting my own players, the only one who would have boosted was LE, he has 3 players on my team.

I agree the system is set up to award the boosters and custom suited players. You can clearly see the difference in levels in the short game and the passing game. When you consider 55 players being 3 levels higher at 15 points each thats a total of 825 skill points. No matter how great you are that's very hard to overcome. If the opponents is 3 levels higher all they have to be is knowledgeable with the game and can win. In fact it's so obvious that a team who outlevels a team by 3 levels all they have to do is slam right, slam left all game, no game planning needed. That's why in Gold it's boost and cutom or GTFO..lol

If ya ever decide to hang up SAS, I'll make ya a co-owner of Short Bus. Payed through until season 25 and have many dedicated agents.

Just an FYI

I am sure several Teams that make it to the Championship game will carry on to gold.
I am seeing some Gold Teams already going CPU and heard of several more making announcements. (yes even teams that are auto out)

Hey, Bort's gotta make money somehow. You might check out this think called "League nUderground." It's where nonboosting teams play against eachother season after season, build rivalries, ect. There's a trophy and everything but the only downside is that it is run completely through scrims so that does cost some money.

But look on the bright side. You and LE just finished the best regular season ever in peewee and are four games away from being the best peewee team ever.

You know the sim does what the sim wants, so if it happens that's great, but I will not get too excited just yet.

There are still 7 other teams with just as good a shot in S5

I checked it out once, but it said they only allow basic AI.

Oh really? I feel like it would be so much more popular if they didn't do that.
