To avoid seed stacking, have the winner of the #1 seed game be the tiebreaker rather than cumulative score....
This should be plenty of incentive to keep your teams seeded reasonably. Considering this is indeed a challenge of "depth" slight alterations amongst the top 4 (with the exception of #1 to #4 switch) should not impact the outcome much at all.

No, but assuming I stick around next season, I'm planning to write a new rankings script from scratch that will take all scrimmages into account.

I dunno, man, the rankings script is often a little wonky, but 8 games in I don't think the #8 team is genuinely better than the #2.

A better question is who have the SBI Waves beat that they deserve a bid ahead of the Willie Wonkas?

I agree they haven't played ANYONE at all... but they at least won all 8 games healthily.... the only 2 teams the SBI have played that I'll grant any kind of merit to their record at all (Wow I wish I was in silver 2.... FKing silver 7 is retardedly harder than this...) they got beat healthily by....

I'm going to have to agree the Willie Wonkas are not neccessarily the better team, but I'm not seeing how being unbiased you would form this opinion looking at solely the stats (because by no means am I wasting my time watching S2 games)...

I was under the impression each league was meant to elect their own representatives...

Maybe instead of deeming only 4 teams can be used.... allow before each game the League to provide ANY team in their league in their seedings...

So allow each week for the leagues to decide amongst themselves (or even publicly via vote in their League forum as S7 did) and then replace teams as they wish... this would be a better measure of depth and add to the league strategy aspect.

The vote went on in every league forum and the Waves were picked over the Wonkas... But the idea you have of choosing teams probably wouldn't work because some teams won't want to play in the tourney and if they get chosen and don't play that will delay the tourney

What I mean is... allow the leagues to hold their little vote each round.... but first take a general survey of who is interested and willing... rather than inviting individual teams via a PM...

or you could essentially have each league elect a captain and have them be responsible for it or FF (or pass the buck...)...

I'd say the Leagues ability to elect a competent captain is part of determining their "quality" as agents, just as much as their ability to click the plus sign next to speed 5 times once every other day.

Well, we do play the Vegas Gamblers in a couple days. We'll see how we do against those guys, should be a good game. I like that script Gongadan, appreciate the support.

I mean sorry that you guys aren't in, but I really have no evidence as to who is better... SBI has lost to some good teams, and you guys just haven't played anybody... So the final decision came down to league vote and SBI got 2 votes you guys got 0.
