The level of play in the Pros is just now getting good. They were the EXACT same in season 1... and had two teams promoted after what... half of a season? Come on guys! Be serious.

Season 1 champs meant nothing... very few people were here. Alot of those games were vs. cpu teams. During season 2... AAA and Pro were the exact same league. All the active teams had all been here the same amount of time. As time goes on, and all the AAA teams promote and the Pro teams get demoted... then the "Pro is the best" statement can hold up.

Personally, being one of the teams to come from AAA, I can say we weren't even the best team in our confrence. So, while the four of us will be staying, some of you chumps should be packing your bags for a demotion!!!!!!!

The point I was making is the best team in AAA last year made the final eight here ... and they didn't raise a trophy. That means it's a fact that the pro league is at a higher level than AAA. It's really not disputable, so there's no point to threads like this.
Besides, last year is last year, this is this year and you all are pros now. There's no point in denigrating a league that you're a part of.
The heart of the matter is you former AAA teams will be tested in ways you never have been before. You may very well end up passing that test with a trip to the championship game or you might not. Time will tell.
And, on the flip side, we won't have as many easy games this year and will be put to the test like never before, too.
Let the best team win.



The only thing I can comment on about that is 'at a higher level'. I think that the teams that have come up are BETTER than the average team in the Pros. Of course, every season that average goes up, because better teams are coming and the weak sisters are being relegated.

It will probably be 4 or 5 MORE seasons before the difference between Pro and AAA is such that an upcoming team has very little chance of making the playoffs in their first year in the Pros (which, by definition, means they are better than average).

Of course, a dynasty could develop up here - without promotion, a great team could stick and dominate for a long time.

OK, well here's my argument. 4 teams move down each season, so in all actuality no matter how badly some of you have sucked from the beginning only 8/32 have been relegated. Just because you got your "Pro" team from the start and have dodged relegation thus far doesn't make you some great team. What makes you a great team is winning a championship. Reapers and Prague can talk shit all they want about proving to be a "Pro". The rest of you chumps that have no trophy next to your name can prove something to the rest of us, that you BELONG here. AAA is just the same as the Pro's right now, in level of competition. It will eventually level out to where the Pro's are the toughest, but still not quite there. So winning a championship in AAA IS the same to me as winning a championship here.

Because sadly I wasn't quick enough to get a Pro team first...oops!

It's the same level of competition is my point. We have some cake games here, just like in AAA. We also have a handful of good teams here. I'd much rather "earn" my way into the Pro's than to say that I'm a Pro and not have anything to show for it. Seriously, what have most of you done that got your Pro team from the start? Dodged some relegations, I can answer that for the most of you. Some teams made a deserving team and probably won't ever be relegated, but the fact is that more than half of the teams that have been here from the start don't even belong in here...Teams that have moved up do belong. Yet all of you so-called Pro's talk shit.

P.S. Like I said, I'll accept trash talk about us proving something from Prague and the Reapers...thats about it.

I do look forward to our upcoming matchup though, you guys are one of the deserving teams in my opinion. You've got a well-built team, should be a good game.
