#2 beats #4 without boosting

Way to come up with a way to stroke your own ego on wins, and downplay your losses with a ready made excuse. Using you're own example from forums past, (paraphrasing)it makes no sense not to boost at the beginning of the season at such high levels because the XP awarded at these levels doesn't justify holding on to your boost....unless you know you're going to lose more often this season and you need an excuse to fall back on of course.

Jiddy Fructose does not necessarily agree. Assigning more skill points earlier harms not only XP...but potentially training skill points that could be the difference in a playoff game in his opinion. It is a game of inches...Well...Actually probably a game of millimeters as the screen is only about 6 inches by 5 inches...But that's just his opinion.

Of course, Jiddy Fructose pimp slaps around level 11 broads and takes humor (Perhaps "Good Humor?!?) in it...So that tells you something about his character...So maybe it's better not to listen to him.

Fanatix was going to wait to boost, but we have a number of tough games early on, and we've missed the postseason by 1 game or 0.5 games the last two years. We're tired of waiting, hehe.

I can agree with that Jiddy, but only at lower levels, once you get around Lvl 17 or 18 the drop off on xp awarded is so steep, it makes no sense to hold on to boosting. I guess it makes a little sense if you have a really good team that you know is going to make into the playoffs without them and then you can give each of your guys and extra 15 sp for the playoff games...so I can see that logic.

When the math dictates you'll gain an extra level over the course of the season as well, then it makes all the sense in the world

Hes a brain surgeon! When you have a team that will make the playoffs regardless and we have enough cash now to pay for everything and complete our stadium Day 1 of next season, there is no reason to try for home games in the playoffs this season, we need to think about prolonged dominance.

Jiddy Fructose prefers nutrition specialist if you must.

So what happened to Sarajevo Reapers? Who are they now? Anyone else change their friggin name? Lets get them listed. If were going to vote in a poll I need to know who's who. I don't have time to look it all up, give me some help here and quit changing team names.

Thanks Fellas!

There's also the gameplanning piece. We don't know you guys real well, so you might throw a wrinkle at us that we haven't seen yet. By holding on to the boost, we can prepare ourselves to meet that challenge in the playoffs - if we boost early, and you still kick our asses with that wrinkle, then we're in REAL trouble.

Eastern Europe Pro League Coach's Poll

Well, with the season's 1st games behind us, it appears that everyone is saying "They are who we thought they were". Not a ton of movement in the coaches poll this time around. Rome had a bit of a drop and because of that 5-8 got bumped up a spot and the Demon Brigade joined the Top 10 as well. Without further adeiu, I give you, your newest COACH'S POLL!

RULES OF THE COACH'S POLL!
Very simple. Your team owner or someone they appoint must PM me a list of what they deem to be the top 10 teams in the league in order from 1-10. The list must be sent to me by no later than noon (central time) the day after your game, which actually gives you more time to vote than it does for me to add it all up. That is all

Team - (# of 1st place votes) - {Last Rank} - [Points scored]
1) Sarajevo Reapers - (5) - {1} -[75]
2) Prague Punishers - (2) - {2} - [71]
3) Sheboygan Chaos Theory - {3} - [60]
4) Belgrade Black Hand - {5} - [57]
5) Dubrovnik Destroyers - {45} - [45]
6) Stalingrad Gryphon Army - {7} - [43]
7) Chernobyl Mutants - {8} - [26]
8) Rome Gladiators - {4} - [25]
9) Barger Hill Burglers - {9} - [20]
10) Gen. Patton's Demon Brigade - {NR} - [10]

Also receiving Top 10 votes
Rockford Warriors (7), Helsinki Hell Raisers (5), Novosibirsk Grey Wolves (4), and last but not least, making his 1st appearance in our coach's poll...Bryant Gumble (1).

Well, there you have it, our 2nd rankings of the season. I had 8 votes this time (which is a nice improvement from our 5 votes last time), but I missed a couple of you from the last rankings.
