Surfin' Smurfs are pulling out. Would have liked to see this filled up by now. Going to be spending friendlies on more than just AA teams. Sorry RG, but I need to be assured I can get ample testing on my new O AI before playoffs and I'm not sure that these spots are going to fill up.

We're 24 then. Can we find a formula and run it with 24 teams instead of 32?

Wouldn't be popular because who would get a bye, but:

Top 8 get byes, the rest play. Then you end up with 16 and you're good.

would have to be pool play

could go 8 groups of 3. you play both teams in your group. top team in each group (ties decided by point differential) goes into a 8 team single elimination playoff.
