From today's scrim with my fake based test WR (his build is actually pretty bad but built to test fakes). Ya we beat them by over 100 but their starting secondary outleveled my WR Shakes McShakes. Also I assume some of these likely aren't fakes as its hard to tell.

What is the rest of the build if you don't mind asking. Both those numbers are better than Lupin and he does pretty well imo.

From what I've heard, Bort said carrying doesn't factor into fakes until after the catch so Vision to 68 > Carrying to 68. Juke is definitely better than spin too, but if you really want to use spin, more strength & carrying.

That part is true but as far as effectiveness, post catch fakes>pre catch fakes.

Not when you juke the CB out so badt he stops dead, make the catch, and then the CB still hasn't recovered.

How often does juke help your WR tho? I understand it can lead to be a big play but how often does it occur. Can't speak for this seasons sim yet but FS seems to help just about every play, depending on the route the WR is running.

Well, let's put it this way, faking with the ball requires agility, vision, and carrying. Faking without the ball requires agility and vision. If Vision contributes to both equally where carrying only contributes to post catch fakes, then vision will be the more important skill. I misread the OP in the other thread, was thinking Juke or Spin and Juke definitely wins there. As to how well Juke does, my agility WR gets open off of a fake pretty regularly early in the game, but his stamina and supporting skills are still really low so he tires out fast and isn't that productive yet. And FS doesn't fire every play either.

Does agility play a role in fakes? Last I saw per Bort, pre catch its vision, post catch its vision/carrying. I can't remember if someone was asking specifically about vision and carrying and thats why he left out agility or if agility doesn't play a role. I don't think I remember someone asking just about vision and carrying though. Anyone know?

How high is your juke? I raised mine from 1 to 5 with the boosts and now he dances at the line more than I would like trying to juke I guess. Does your guy do this? Mine is on creative route running which I never had a problem before but should I get off of creative now?

NOt sure most of those are fakes. Some are just well run routes or defender gets picked by another player.

In my experience, creative route running is responsible for the dancing at the line. If you go back to exact you'll see that go away.

I didn't notice him doing it much before I added to juke tho.

My agility/fakes guy did terrible as WR2 for that reason, the routes were mostly streaks and he was on creative, and he just sat at the line of scrimmage dancing. He does much better at WR1 and especially WR3.

Does Clever Instincts and Quick Feet stack in terms of bonus to fakes that you get?
Is agi completely useless? I got 2 separate pieces of AEQ 2agi/Juke, 3agi/Juke and another one 3carry/5% fake chance.
I made a mistake of pumping agi into all 3 thats alot of equipment points and I am begining to regret it. I think I should have stuck with speed?

This guy was originally built with high catching in mind so I have wasted alot of points along the way including possetion WR SAs. His natural vision is at 72, carry is at 65, Head Fake is at 9 (8 natural) Juke is at 14 (4 natural) Spin is at 5 +13% to fake chance.

He has 104agi and 88speed.

Do you guys think this can be effective? VAs are 15 Streaky, 15 Quick Feet, 11 Possetion WR, 17 free to distribute - debating between clever instincts, sleepery, YAC attack.
