Even winning in BBB can be lucrative. I'm a huge opponent of the philosophy that you should pay your players the minimum so you can build a big stadium and start making more money than you need.. or I'd have another 3 sections of my stadium built already. We're making enough to pay everyone on the team 100k a season, and still expand 3-4 sections a season.. so I think it's a good mix of paying your hard-working players versus trying to get rich as an owner to eventually play guys the big dollars.

That's called team concept, my friend. That's what I preach with my Ballbusters team. Money's only good for training and equipment anyway. The upgrade equipment gets VERY expensive so people need to save their money for it. Other than that, there's no extra bling on this game yet; therefore, there's no reason to sign anyone to anything more than the minimum contract. You are 100% spot on!

This is what has helped my team a lot. Right now, we have enough cash to build the max in our stadium next season, and should be able to complete the stadium in season 6. Level 32 equipment is going to be pretty expensive, and we'll have plenty of cash, so max salaries for my team will be coming up soon. It's a bit too hard to give bonuses to get everyone 800k on the team.

I know the feeling. The Level 24 equipment's brutal enough. I have put other players ahead of my own players. I KNOW my guys will stay with the team. That Level 32 stuff will hurt like a kick in the crotch.

Once you get your stadium up, the money becomes meaningless. Look at all the pro teams sitting on $60M cash. We are sitting on 100/100/71 fan support now, though. If we can win our last two games and win 2 playoff games, we will finally hit 100/100/100, although a loss will drop us to 100/99/99 to start next season. If we can sell our tickets for 2 times expected prices, we should be able to make quite a bit in the next few seasons. The real kicker will come in when players get higher and higher and need even more money for equipment, and the stadium has no room to grow.

I was wondering about that myself. Perhaps there will be more expansion for the stadium. After all, there's soccer and NASCAR stadiums out there that hold damn near 200,000 people.

My guess is that once the stadiums reach full capacity they will start doing things like corporate sponsorships to where you get a certain amount of cash if your team meets certain stats (wins, league leaders in certain categories...etc.).

That sounds pretty cool! I like the idea.
