Indeed. Had I known GLB was going to falter at meeting my expectations I would have quit 8 seasons ago. I was just trying to maintain idle ownership until the game became fun and then continue playing, but I no longer see a likely future where this game is giong to interest me. I also used all my FPs to buy ownership in the team for lots of extra seasons and then gave it away for free. In season 1 I wouldn't have sold my team for a couple thousand dollars cash. It had a lot of value to me at that time, but that value has evaporated.

It's gotta be the biggest boom to bust of enjoyment I have ever had with a product or service in my lifetime.

While I know you have not quite been the most beloved figure in GLB, I still much prefer your time here as opposed to discussions on football.about.com which made me want to jab my eyes out with paper clips. While your exit here may not be graceful, best of luck terrorizing people in real life as well as the rest of the internet my man.

LOLwell in real life I seem to have the opposite effect on people. People take stuff out of context on the Internet and say stupid shit that they don't say in person. I can't think of too many conversations I've ever had in real life that mimic some of the ridiculously painful conversations I've had here.

As far as the grace of the exit, well this game lost its grace a long time ago. I have been attacked by lots of people without fair provocation, and the entire time I have been here and I have played the game with class and integrity and the highest ethics possible. We may not have won the most games, and I may not have made the most friends, but I played the game with honor at least. My only regret is holding onto the team too long thinking that eventually some changes to the game would come.

Oh and just cause I don't own a team doesn't mean you can't join the Lions forum and talk more about football. You know you miss the good times!

Wanna make fun of him here... but he's right... The fact that an owner like this, one who enjoyed the game so much in the beginning, and was even willing to pay for a team without really trying to win, just to play the game, but is now leaving... Bort should take notice...


TSE, if you don't mind, what are the biggest issues you have with how the game has "evolved"?

We will likely be moving around to a lower league and are now under new ownership as I have gifted the team to General Mak. I just can't play this game any longer as a team control person or a player, it's way too boring and has hit a dead end and I don't see the point or value in playing this game. It has nothing to do with football, and is a lousy MMORPG that doesn't let you experience hardly any taste of what an RPG should be. It's stuck in a bland middle of confusion and indecision and has no focus towards a fun game playing experience.
