"For those too young to remember, "NBA Jam" is a two-on-two basketball game that hit arcades back in 1993 and instantly took the video game industry by storm."

Wow, guess I've finally reached the age where I have to ask "remember when?". lolmyoldballs

this was my favorite bit of the article:
The Pippen Jinx

Did Scottie Pippen's ratings really drop when he played certain teams or was I just the least clutch shooter every time I played Detroit? "It's true, but only when the Bulls played the Pistons," explained Turmell. "If there was a close game and anyone on the Bulls took a last-second shot, we wrote special code in the game so that they would average out to be bricks. There was the big competition back in the day between the Pistons and the Bulls, and since I was always a big Pistons fan, that was my opportunity to level the playing field."

who token boosts? i didnt know people still did that, I prefer to carry 3 AEQ

3 AEQ? far fetched friend

I have 3 AEQ on everyone of my players, each AEQ started as a +3 in a major Attribute, and +1 Major SA

so starting off thats already and extra +9, and with all of the longer down time between seasons, bonus tokens start to accumulate...

level 64 AEQ = 72 bonus tokens
3 pieces of equip at 72 tokens = 216 bonus tokens
2.5 days = 1 bonus tokens
2.5 x 216 = 540 days

the average season is about 57 days with a ten day off season and 7 day preseason...

that would give you 30 days "free" to do what you want with training like stock up shopping tokens. it just seems a bit farfetched that you could find 3 extrememly rare pieces of AEQ with just 30 shopping tokens. and even if you did go by my plan.... you would get your final bonus token to upgrade your third piece of equipment on the 40th day of your tenth season. even if you were to argue that the seaons are generally long like 60 days or something... you would still only have 40 days worth of shopping tokens... just my opinion though

Even not fully upgraded, a set that started +3 is +3 better than 2 AEQ, not to mention the addition SA or % that comes along with it

carrying 3 pieces of AE, that's just silly. Token boost as many games as possible!
