The Yankees have been buying good teams for as long as Steinbrener has owned the team and I'm pretty sure they have won a few championships in that time. And as for the Tech/A&M argument? Let me end it here. We have 8 Big 12 championships THIS year. You've won 1 in the past 3 years. Academics? Texas A&M was voted the #62 ranked University in the country. Tech was unranked and considered a tier 3 school. We live in College Station, nicely located between Austin, Houston, San Antonio and reasonably close to Dallas. Tech is the the asscrack of west Texas in the thriving metropolis of Lubbock.
And if you really want to add insult to your assinine statements, Randy NEVER bought this team. Our players all take WAY less money to play for him than we could get elsewhere. But we do it to be the best, and with the exception of one little hiccup, we are the best. And we will continue to be among the best in this game.
Now don't you have some STD testing to get done?

Did anyone see anything in this banter about academics or college sports other than football. No I didn't either, but this is the aggie defense of their football team. I really don't care about softball or women's tennis or track. I know you won baseball, good for ya..... As for academics, your "world news and report #62 ranking" (I'm guessing this is a moral victory for you?) doesn't mean a thing to those of us in the real world. My so called "tier 3 education" landed me a great job.

Oh look at this, Tech is ranked 89th and aTm is ranked 214 in the world. See what I did there. I showed you a list that has Tech ranked higher. I guess you're tier 3 now.
Honestly, I think aTm is a great school with an excellent academic reputation. But it's not as prestiges and elite as you make out to be.

I'm going to stop wasting my time with this clown. You made a stupid analogy and you are desperatly trying to back it up as a "failed attempt at humor". Half of your original statement is somewhat true. We ARE kind of like the Yankees in that we are a wealthy franchise with a dominant (albeit short) history. But to say either of those teams (Prague or New York) "choke" in the big game is just stupid. We've been in THE big game twice and won it once. But we've been in tons of other "big" games and won every one of them. Case in point: We played Rome today who, on paper, was a better team. And they are well run and well coached. It was a big game for us. And what do you know, another victory. But whatever...

It's not about who won most it's about who won last.
Sarajevo knows first hand what you mean with your little Rome analogy. We're undefeated against the "number 1 team in the league". All that garbage that was piled up all season about how Alpha is full of bottom feeders is garbage. Our kicker messed up, the sim was broke because that guy was open on that play, Sarajevo should be embarassed they got thrown on this many times; Sarajevo has an over-rated runningback - they're one dimensional (and my personal favorite)
if they played you again you would lose.
All that sounds nice, it really does. But you know what? It's garbage. You guys had your chance to back up all of that. Granted, some of it may have been said on your behalf, but you never objected to any of it. You came to the dance and got waltzed out the door, and I know it hurts getting knocked off a horse that high, but you gotta brush that off and try it again. We can't wait.

We lost a game because of a kicker and some programming.
You make it sound like you won by 30, you won by 3 ... THREE, that can be one run from the 0.5 yard line not making it in (as it was) or 2 FGs not kicked (as it was). It was a GOOD/GREAT day for yall a really bad day for us and we would have won at least half of the time if that game was played again, but since there is only one way to play it again ...
Just get to the CCG again, better yet do it two seasons in a row and you will see what is what and you and all of Alpha can keep your inflated stats versus teams that the top 5 teams each beat 150-0.
We were the better team, we lost, we came, we congratulated and yall wont shut the fuck up, I swear, when we go around and talk about anything half as much as yall do, half the league cries about it. I havent seen so much chest beating over anything except when Alpha tries to justify their overblown stats against their cupcake conference.
