Tony Baker is foregoing his 6th year at NC State and if he can stay healthy could be a huge steal for somebody. Most of you will probably be like, "who?" but just watch some of his film and you will see what I mean. I know I am being a homer but when healthy Tony is the real deal.

It has been 20 years since a white running back ran for 1000 yards in a season. (Craig James) 29 years since a white running back led a conference in rushing. (Mark Van Eeghan-AFC) and 32 years since a white running back was chosen in the first round of the NFL draft. (John Cappeletti)

Hmmm... I've been drinking, but I had a brain wave.
Huge Packer fan. If I was the GM, I'd go to the Rams after the playoffs and make them a Godfather offer: Aaron Kampman and James Jones for the #1 pick. Here's the reasoning:
-Since Kampman's injury, we have the top-ranked defense in the league. Brad Jones has emerged as a steal in the 7th round last year, and Kampman's biggest value is as a DE in a 4-3 system--making him more valuable as trade bait than as an outside linebacker. He was an All-Pro in that role, and a legitimate playmaker--something the Rams sorely lack.
-With Greg Jennings entrenched, Jones would never be more than a #2 in Green Bay. Either way, I'm perfectly comfortable with a long-term worst-case scenario of Jennings and Jordy Nelson assuming we don't draft someone to supplant Jordy. And Jones is instantly the #1 target for Marc Bulger, or whoever is throwing for the Rams next year.
-Suh was born to play defensive end in the 3-4. He's got the size and strength of a smaller defensive tackle, with the athleticism of a defensive end and the football instincts that coaches dream of. He's comfortable against the run, pass rushing, or dropping back in zone coverage (which helps him a lot more in a zone-blitzing 3-4 scheme than in a 4-3).
For the Packers, you add a potential All-Pro who just so happens to fit your system perfectly. For the Rams, you get significant upgrades at two positions, and add an instant All-Pro level player.

there is no way kampman + jones = 1st overall pick.

Not bad Logic though Baseball Guy. I think it would be very tempting to the Rams. They need to replace L.Little at end and I think that Suh could Play as a LDE. Notice the Rams have LDT's and RDT's? They don't use NT's. All About Gap Control, lol.

I don't think Suh would make a great 3-4 DE in the NFL. He's definitely not a 3-4 NT.

What makes you say Suh couldn't play DE in a 3-4? I'm guessing you're going to say quickness but I think he's quicker than he gets credit for. You might be right, but it would be interesting to see how it works out.
