1. FC Kaiserslautern is my team...unfortunately. They've run into a bit of bad luck and shitty play lately, but being born and raised there, I can't give up on them! One day they'll break back into the 1.Bundesliga

Either way, European soccer rocks and it's just fun watching guys that can actually play in contrast with the MLS that we have here in the US.

Watch your language, that was CLEARLY a dive.
Australia was robbed.
(Yes, I am Australian )

That was a blatant dive, UK and Australian citizen here. One of my mates is half-italian so I started having a go at him the following day, Australia were Italy's toughest test in the world cup and were lucky to get the win.

Teams: Luton Town (ultimate low), Chievo Verona and Real Betis. Regardless of all the diving etc. in European football I enjoy watching it.

Its the same question as in wether or not Van Nistelrooy was offside yesterday... You'll always have 2 sides having discussions about it, but there isn't really a point: the game's over, you won't change the result by bickering... So let's just say the ref got back on the Italians yesterday

Grosso could have avoided that contact, the video makes out that Neill intentionally raised his arm when quite clearly it was never intended. Naturally I'll say it was never a penalty but rightly said, bickering isn't going to change the outcome of the game.

2010 WC, there will be revenge.

I truly hope so
The best part of all of this is that I was on a surftrip in France when the final was played I was nearly killed by the locals afterwards

Haha, I was supporting the Italians in the WC final just because I really dislike the French.

Amen Brother,

Even Eric Cantona is on Telly claiming he is More British than French.

PS This is a very Monarchs Dominated Thread!

And Marshy, absolutely, any time you need directions around South London's back Streets, gimme a shout.

Next question: Who of you likes the French?

I live in a country where French is one of the official languages, making it one of the most dreaded courses in Flemish schools... So just for that I hate them. I love 'em for their food, music, access to surf and outsmarting the Americans every time again, but god I hate them!

I don't like them at all. So arrogant, like when they lost both times to Scotland.

Anyway, I'm Scottish. Rangers are the team for me.

Don't like them as I'm British, they are arrogant and think they are better than everybody else plus historically Britain (England until 1707) and France were bitter rivals and fought countless wars. Finally, they don't like us.

Gianni, I assume you are Belgian if French and Flemish schools are mentioned?

I've been living in Belgium for quite some time now, but I was born In Spain. Grew up there until the age of 2, then my parents got divorced and my mom wanted to go back to Belgium so I lived in Belgium most of the time and during the holidays I'd spend several months where my dad lived at that time(Uk, Australia, Boston,...)
Plan on moving back to the UK though. Loved the countryside, people in Oxfordshire have this lovely accent, the wheater is actually better then in Belgium (believe it or not), the food is terrible but the beer is allright, and you guys actually have surfable beachbreaks.

The term football refers to only US of A football on a US of A football RPG. Any use of the word football to refer to soccer, or as so called in the US of A is revocation of the said MAN CARD.

HTH
TIA
