You must be on a really shitty team then. Whatever you choose to do, do not retire him. Playing your team might be a real confidence booster for a slowbuilding team that is finally rounding out their builds!

Also, if your guy is so good compared to the other CBs on your team, then why is he 4th on the depth chart despite being 3 levels ahead of the guys above him?

If you REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want to retire him... retire.
Or you can just sell all your EQ and put it in speed. Pump up speed as high as you can get it.

Your player gets a lot of tackles because his man is always open so the ball is thrown to him. Then, you hopefully tackle him. That is why your stats are high. Or, sometimes you get lucky and intercept the pass of deflect it.

Stats does not mean it is a good build.

i would throw some points into the Retire stat but don't forget to put a few into Rebuild and maybe 1 or 2 points in the delete account skill as well.
