Problem with this is that we have too many teams now (34), i will have signups until day -1, if we dont reach 64, i will just split up the groups into pool play (I will try to keep everybody under 7 games to win it all still)

Would anybody be against that? if we just do brackets with this many teams, people will get byes while others dont

Then cut the 33rd and 34th team and roll with 32 teams.

Really i am not ready to do that just yet, I am shocked at the lack of interest this season, hopefully a miracle will happen and more will join, so you feel the pool play is completely out of the picture? probably 4 teams in a pool, depends on how many pools, but the top 16 move on, so you will play 3 pool play games, then need to win 4 more games to win it all.

Pool play is fine with me
