#3 Higher completion percentage + More TDs in real games + Less INTs = Darrel Williams wins.
#4 imo, I'm sure I look somewhat "lookatmeish" for bragging about a player on my team, but you look moreso for bragging about your own player on your team.
Regardless, congrats on having such a talented QB, and best of luck.
OK, I'll play......
(1) Not sure why the West continues with its delusion of superiority when they've lost the Championship game 11 out of 12 seasons and 10 seasons in a row!!!

How can a conference that can only win 1 Championship out of 12 still be convinced that they are hands down superior? Seems like the facts speak for themselves.
Now I'll admit that the West is more active (and entertaining) when it comes to posts in the Forum

, but that's a different criterion sort of like the way TSE is playing a different game than the rest of us (we try to win games, he tries to generate stats for one guy)

(2) This may well be true. NBSK didn't start out that way and we kinda caught them midway through---not a complete gut job, but not very competitive either. OTOH, everyone KNEW we were going to pass last season. Gameplanners didn't even bother with the run against us as we had only 373 rushing yards ALL SEASON!

Hedgehogs had a much more balanced attack, with 2486.5 yds rushing. Clearly Kenny had to pass against defenses that were more designed to stop the pass than Darrel who had the luxury of a rushing game to fall back on.
(3) Matter of opinion. I think the INTs are a good point. The completion percentage and "TDs in real games" is kinda iffy to me.

Just not sure that compensates for over 1500 yards difference--like I said, matter of opinion. (Interesting side note: in the playoffs they have IDENTICAL QB ratings of 90.4 in two games and nearly identical yds/game (380.3 to 380.8)! That's almost freaky!

Darrel had a much better completion percentage 62.4 to 53.8, but his TDs/ INTs were much worse 4/2 vs. 6/0)
(4) Can't argue with that. It does look very "me-ish". But I just couldn't let that factual misstatement go unchallenged. When football statisticians talk about the NFL or NCAA "passing leader" or "#1 QB", they're referring to passing yards. In that category the answer is unequivocal. (Also, we're not going to have much to brag about this season, so I had to take my opportunity when it came.

)
In all seriousness, though, obviously Darrel is outstanding

and my bet is we could put either guy in either offense (from last year--we're going to suck this season) and they'd still be successful.
And boy, jp's efforts to liven up the Forum sure seem to be working!!!

(Can you tell I JUST discovered that there are more smiley options for the Forums?)
