any chance we can get a test run with the same builds except with WRs with soft capped catching instead?

baseline to see if catching in pee wee actually makes a difference in the completion percentages

irrelevant if we are talking about this level. Unless you are advocating that pee wee receivers should be built by soft capping catching first and ignoring speed? I don't think that is something for the test server to be used for.

that is how most teams who have tried to make passing in pee wee work, have been building WRs actually
but I understand
no worries

Well, if the passing is improved with catching at the level that it is set at there then it will only improve with more catching. The tests are not to find the best builds.

I think it comes down to the WR's mainly in pee wee. Everyone is so speed/agility crazy with their builds they ignore catch/vision for the most part. All our WR's have 48 in vision/catch and not much at all in speed/agility and we are constantly at 45%-50+% completion rate for the last 6 games. I will open the builds if we lose tomorrow for the WR's and QB's.
Point I am getting at is speed/agility is only a minor skill in pee wee's. I'd say half the completions the WR is covered super well but b/c of their catch and route running ability the rate of success is high even when smothered.
I do believe we need tweaking to our pass game but I am afraid we might tweak it a little too excessively. Only a slight tweak is needed. Another problem is most players created are by agents who want their builds to continue after the season so they have to go crazy on speed/agility due to the auto level gains, which isn't the best thing for the team/ pee wee in general.

Totally totally uneducated. If you saw a typical build of probably 95% of Gold Teams WRs, you'd see DOUBLE CAPPED catching and vision. Maybe 5% of Gold WRs have speed over 60 and most are returners/specialists.

BS, We always built catching, vision and strength since season 8. Many owners can attest to that. Passing game dropped off last season and has fell flat this season.

+1 to this. The DSBM modified our builds in the offseason to get ready for S12. We split our 4 WR's 2 & 2 with two guys capping catching first. They never really had a plan to put much in speed/agility because we wanted guys to move the chains. That plan got nerfed pretty quickly.
