That post had analogies and everything, it was pretty sweet.
Me too. I even mentioned due process.
As for the flex purchasing issue, I agree with GP1 on this one. Not to mention that all the new players who get into this game will want to eventually get their players into WL. If they see that it is nothing but a mockery and that Bort isn't doing anything to protect the teams and players who play the game for real, that isn't much incentive for them to dedicate the time and money required to get here.

Not really
Even if he applies the blow out code to stats it doesn't really do much for collusion. It's not that hard to keep a game within 20 while still putting up some crazy stats when you control both teams... or even vs a gutjob for that matter. Unless the blowout code is a lot more complex than I'm giving it credit for, Haliblack could have circumvented it by keeping BFM close, making Brooks the O-mvp leader by a mile.

Is it not reasonable to think that people that don't take the dots seriously are getting enjoyment out of such a lulzy game in which Haliblack would've won 255-0 anyway?
There is no doubt there are plenty of lulz right now in Haliblack land. You got what you set out for, attention. Congrats!
However, from Bort's business perspective what Gart did has the potential to cost him revenue for the reasons I stated. The fact that it happened in the premiere league in GLB, and is getting explained away and mocked by several mods is causing him further damage.
You can agree or disagree, that is just the opinion of someone with considerable business experience.
You're talking way over some heads here. Let's face it, what's wrong with the internet = Haliberries. You go ahead and try to do that in a fantasy football league where $$$ is spent, you're booted.

I find the idea that a 0-11 team screwing around with a 9-2 team makes WL a mockery to be kind of ridiculous tbh.
I do think that fixing the awards trophies and such is in order.

ksychic, told me he was getting busy in RL and didn't want to own BFM with a half ass effort, and the merge was decided 3-4 games into the season.

This league is supposed to be the best of the best competing at the highest level. That was the whole purpose of the league. When two teams get together and try to throw a game like these two have, it takes that aspect of the league away. Instead of having every game mean something and instead of having the very best players in the game compete legitimately for the most important individual awards in the game, you have the leaders of two teams mocking the purpose of the WL and taking the opportunity to compete for those awards away from the agents that they are important to. If Gart et al. think it's a big joke and have "zero cares," then they shouldn't care if they are banned for screwing over the agents who do care.

Prediction: BFM go 0-16 regardless of yesterday. Does this mean they are still the best of the best this season?

Too late, looks like they're already fixing what was a major problem with trophies.
Much ado about nothing.

Are they as good as teams like MEM, Lincoln, and Mayan? No. Were they good enough to make it to the WL? Yes. Regardless of what record they may or may not have ended up with if the game was played for real yesterday, it doesn't excuse what ksychic and Gart did. Trying to defend them by arguing that BFM was already bad or that it was somehow good for the game doesn't work. Neither does re-simming the game. They made the choice to mess up the game for the rest of the agents in the WL and now they have to live with the consequences of those actions.
