Maybe, that'd put us somewhere between 5th and 8th in the WL. At which point you'll have proved to be correct.

Top Defensive Player

Jimmy Johnston-The Defending Defensive player of the year in his conference leads the league in Sacks and Forced fumbles and is among the leaders in hurries. JJ is still a beast and is still 25 days away from the decline.

I think there's some better choices out there:

5 sacks on screen plays against BFM and 5 sacks on a DPC zone blitz against LSP isn't overally impressive to me. (those 2 games also acount for 18 tackles, 4 FF, and 5 hurries). Throw in the fact that he only has 3 TFLs on the season and he looks like a pass-rush specialist that has only really had an impact in 2 games against the (currently) worst 2 teams in Alpha.

I haven't looked at everyone out there, but at a quick glance these 2 players stats are much more impressive to me.
-Keen Robert Earl (LB) has 74 tackles, 5 sacks, 4 TFL, 18 PD, and 2 Ints.
-Haufa Gurugatuppa (DE) has has 27 tackles, 12 hurries, 2 sacks, 15 TFLS, 1 PD, and 1 FF

Yeah, having faced both, IMO Jimmy is very good but Haufu is better. He's a superstar despite a mediocre supporting cast. We tried to avoid both but in Gurugatuppa's case he killed us anyway. And Jimmy's stats are mostly the product of coverage sacks or were racked up against Black Forest or Louisiana.
