Especially in minor leagues, amirite?

Heaps of low-ish speed CBs are able to cover 115-speed WRs in this game. The same dynamic goes for LBs. Speed is overrated for MLBs as far as pass coverage goes.

LBs actually need a bit more speed, because half of their coverage is parallel to the LOS. Once things start moving upfield, lower speed works, but crossing is different (which is why in patters work so well for WRs)

what would you guys prefer?

something like.....

78str/75tak/78vis/82spd/80agi

or maybe 78str/75tak/70vis 90 speed?

maybe less strength more tackle like 70/83/78 82/80

I think a MLB can EASILY get by with 80 speed. My former MLB that I retired only had 80 speed, yet he led the league in tackles 3 different times (appropriate leagues each time on a competitive team). He had high tackling and vision though. Tackling should be WAY higher than strength, strength is meh. Tackling factors more into tackling and forcing fumbles.

Strength is useful so you don't get pancaked, and so you can break blocks faster.

I've heard LBs aren't any good unless they have 115+ speed....now I'm all confused

I'm pretty sure Eating Carrots would disagree that Vision>Speed

I know of another high vision LB that used to play pretty damned well.

High Vision is good.

Vision being more important than Speed is a bit of a stretch.

Mind you, I am addicted to Agility so it's not difficult to convince me at least that Agility>=Speed
