No I'm not from Michigan, but been a fan since I was 4 and Yzerman was just making his start in the league. First hockey game I ever watched was a Wings game and the announcers were raving about this kid Yzerman. Then he scored a goal. Then Youngblood came out with the red n white jerseys a couple years later lol. I never recovered

The thing I think im loving here? Is that as a Wings fan I HAVE to hate the Avs, Pens, Hawks, Ducks Preds, and even the Devils. But, you fans of those Teams actually have really good reasons for liking those Teams so I cant really hate on you per se, even though I hate those Teams.

Like this example... Thats awesome that your friend plays for the Avs. And Brodeur is probly the greatest goalie of all-time and you have some significant history there. So, cant hate on you for ANY of that. Very cool.

I can only say that you are on your way back to the late 80'2/early 90's. Chicago, Columbus and St. Louis will see to that this season. If you do not remember this season you are a youngster. 1990-91 80 34 38 8 76 273 298 3rd Bryan Murray. This was the start of the DYNASTY that everyone talks about eventhough the Isles won 4 straight SC and The Oilers of the mid/late 80's were the best team of all time!

I was also born and raised in Toronto and have since moved to Calgary. I unfortunately still can't get the Leafs out of my system. I am thinking that this may be a good time to change teams...just can't do it.
