i agree with the unnecessary tackling points there-- i have yet to miss a tackle (knock on wood) and definitely have not poured as many points into tackling as speed, vision, etc. my guy is still pretty low level though, so i guess we'll see in the end, but im hoping its more important to GET to the tackle then to make it-- at least slow him down, right?

See at least someone in this league is smarter than a browns fan. By the way whens the last time the Browns won a superbowl? Ya know what lets make it easy for you guys how about a playoff game? And didn't the steelers beat you guys twice last year? Please just answer my questions with no stupid comments, know it will be hard for you but try to refrain from embarrasing yourselves and saying the browns are going to be good this year.

C'mon DVS, with all due respect to the Browns, you have to BE in a Superbowl in order to win one...

To answer your questions.
They haven't won since.... ever

They got creamed by the Steelers last year.
They haven't won a playoff game since 1994 (My first Browns game ever, beat the Patriots in old Municpal).

1964 they won the title game, before it was the superbowl....

They won like 7 of 10 title games in 10 years, making it all 10 years. All before the Super Bowl.

And Browns fans accuse Steelers fans of living in the past ......

My total and complete sympathies. I started looking, really, to fill 1 thing that I knew we were losing people at the day we were eliminated from the playoffs.

I'm still looking.

Grrr.

To put that in perspective, I believe the Detroit Lions won an NFL title game once upon a time as well...

DVSmith, you can smack talk my Brownies all you want, but here's one truth: Cleveland fans are the best. I am not going to claim they are the most rabid fans in the nation (most large cities could make such an argument) but they ARE rabid. And the last time they won a championship (if we are not counting the title since it was before the formation of the combined NFL) was 1948 World Series. I have NOT done my research, but I cant think of a city in America with at least 3 of the 4 major sports teams (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) who has gone longer without a championship, and yet we still have the dawg pound, we have the guy who plays the drum at every Tribe game with no compensation whatsoever, and... ok, our Cavs fans are a little fair-weathered, but you get my points. Go Cleveland, Beat Everyone!

Red sox nation are the best fans in any sport ever. They went 80 years before getting a championship and they are all out of their god damn minds!

ok, but what i said was not rabid fans for just one team-- (who have since won, by the way) but for the whole city. The bruins have won twice, the celtics are the league leader in wins, and the pats are one of two teams ever to win 3 out of 4 superbowls, all of this since 1948. so sure, im impressed with red sox fans, but they have had other winning teams. cleveland fans stay crazy despite a dearth of winning teams.

As a Cub Fan with our team celebrating the 100th anniversary of our last World Series Championship (And our 63rd anniversary of the last time even BEING in the World Series) I take offense to this....
