I dont know exactly how it is done, but i know it has something to do with how important you are to your team vs. how important he is to his team vs. how important any other ST player is to their team. You may have 150 TDs and he may only have 50 FGs, but if those 50 FGs were the only points his team scored all season while your team scored another 150 TDs(not counting yours), then he is going to be a higher MVP candidate than you because he was more important to his team. I think the global and league rankings etc. on your awards page are just part of the equation.
I have no idea how the number crunching is done, but look at both players taking what i just said into consideration and see if it makes more sense that way.

I think thats it, and if us having a badass, if "gimmicky", offense means we lose the MVP award, so be it. I will live with that

Yes, it's a legit question, but to keep bitching about it for most of the season is just sad. I get it that Miller is kick-ass. No arguments here. Just don't mistake your criteria for MVP with Bort's. Or for that matter that his even works the way it's meant to.

Yes, it's a legit question, but to keep bitching about it for most of the season is just sad. I get it that Miller is kick-ass. No arguments here. Just don't mistake your criteria for MVP with Bort's. Or for that matter that his even works the way it's meant to.
I get that people have to defend their guy .. and at the end of the day, I'm defending my guy as well...
But to say that a Kicker (mulitple kickers and punters too) are really MVP's on ST is not correct. If games ended 23-20 routinely, sure, ill buy it then. Reality is very few games are that close, gut or no guts. Kickers don't decide games - and i think Hellas has one of the best in Zeta even still.

not even with those scores bro, K'ers and P'ers are like pitchers in baseball, part of the team yes, but not players, you see a player brings it every day, every snap.......
