The biggest Issue I see is this, what is going to be done about the USAPro teams? All 4 are going to make the playoffs. It will probably be that way until they step down gracefully or quit the game. All 4 of those teams have backup plans in place and will easily be able to maintain making the playoffs. Does Bort bow down and like mentioned earlier give other USAPro teams a chance to get in like maybe a 8 team playoff? Or does he rob other leagues of their bids?
You have to win to get in and then continue to win to stay there......that's just the way it is.
If that means 20 of the 32 teams being USA, so be it.

I personally don't have an issue with it. I used to be a GM of the GB maulers so USAPro was the first Pro league I was ever associated with and I have alot of friends that own teams there so I am a little bias as well. I Just don't see the point of a World League if 20/32 of the representatives are USAPro. It basically defeats the purpose of the title of the league. If it comes down to that Bort and Co. might as well just get rid of it.
World League should represent every region's best; I don't think that should mean equal representation because that's just not the way the region competition has shaken out. If EEPL wants good rep we need to be earning it, not a token promote up just to keep the numbers in same.
Best team in the game is out of WEPL. Don't think anyone disputes that.
I do expect a nerf coming that hurts them next season though

Zone VA and Ballhawk combo. Definite nerf coming imo. Maybe they don't stack. Maybe ZS isn't 1% ... something.

Alot of people are "bitching" about it. ZS, Ball hawk + Jack hammer is a deadly combo. But why nerf a team for being smart? Thats the problem with this game. When a team rises above the rest because they have figured something out this happens. Bonn's defense, plus the DE bug/HB Screen is the reason they are so good. But they are beatable and teams like HHW's have shown that. Now if a team were to proper;y build their team it would not be an issue.
For example. Giving WR's high STR/Blocking and tossing in the Downfield blocker VA.
Another way and I have pointed this out in the WL forums is to build WR's a different way give them BH, NoS, and Quick feet. For VA's. Max out First step and the quick feet related VA's. As long as your WR have 115-125 speed +5 Cap Agility and decent catching its all over but the crying. Beating Bonn wouldn't even be an issue. You just have to be built for it. And whats sad is that that offense would also catch a nerf. GLB has become all about who you know and which select group of people are unhappy.

Another way and I have pointed this out in the WL forums is to build WR's a different way give them BH, NoS, and Quick feet. For VA's. Max out First step and the quick feet related VA's. Things get nerfed because it exploits a hole in the sim and the nerf is the easiest fix. I somewhat agree with what you are saying above. Bonn is built to play zone, moreso than just throwing those VAs on their dots and away you go.
Since this whole web forum thing is new thing on the internets and we can't search you'll have to take my word ... Bort has been on record saying there are windows within a route that the pass is allowed to be executed within. The newer plays aren't nearly as bad as the older plays - but Zone exploits this because many plays don't allow for the dink and dunk. Open man and bullet pass would beat Zone in GLB but you need the correct playbook to execute. Rather than fixing the fundamentals in the sim, we will see a nerf to zone; it's easier.
For the record, I hate VAs and many of the "exploits" are centered around them and stacking. Whats the point of having VAs when for most positions the top 2-3 choices are obvious ....

The point is to extend the life and dominance of season one builds and also to keep Bort's longest standing customers happy.

Bort and company are more inclined to nerf the defensive side of the ball on a whim from complaining than the offensive side, it makes sense because those player types cost more flex, so you keep the guys who pay more money happy, and throw in a token boost once in awhile for the defense...........TBH everyone has the same opportunity to find what works and to build their players, if a team figures it out first and excels then that should not be penalized.....IMO
