Yes we made predictions of what we thought would happen. Never did we say "Oh yeah we are going to smoke gary we aren't taking them serious". Read what we said, we took you very seriously and you outplayed us. And we made a thread in here to congratulate you on winning, yes we feel we outplayed you for most of the game, but you beat us where it mattered. Please stop trying to make it sound like we just talked pure shit on you guys, because we didn't and thats all you guys are doing. Learn some fucking sportmanship man.

I've gone back and edited that so that it doesn't sound bitter. That was not the intention. It was intended as a compliment, that you made the big plays when it mattered.

My players, who are understandably upset, are pointing out that the game could have easily gone the other way. Whether or not that is true is also irrelevant, since we're going to be competing in the next league together and will have plenty of chances for rematches.

I smell a rivalry!

Which threads exactly were we boasting in? I've read, but rarely posted on this board. Within our own conference we gave respect to every single one of our opponents.

We treated you guys before the game no different.

We were proud of our defense, and unfortunately we got some bad rolls and that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Alright, enough posturing and arguing. The game is over.
We lost the turnover battle, Squirrels. That's what it came down to.

No reason to stay here and argue with the Gangstaz about what could have happened in the game. We go to the offseason, we spend all the money from hosting the championship game, we marvel at 19 consecutive wins, and then we move on to next season against even better competition, including the very talented players of Gary.

We'll get 'em. Just not this time.
