Watch for alberquerque. They'll be top 4 in the west.

Especially with the previous owner of the Jakarta Vikings dropping his team and bringing all of his players over from SEA AA. Instant championship team.

I don't get why you'd win a championship, move up a league in competition, then puss out when you have a hard time and want to go dominate someplace else again...

Talking about no spirit of competition.... This is the guy that plays Madden on the easiest level with the best team and wins every game 150-0 and wins the superbowl every year and somehow finds it "fun"....

This sucks...

Totally with you here. Yeah, just great. If they win it all -woo, uhm, congratulations... that's sort of like voluntarily flunking out of eighth grade so you could go be the school bully in 6th grade.
If they lose, they should be embarassed. Seriously.

Best of all worlds, I guess, would be seeing them get to the championship game so we know they can go away next season, and then lose it.

Thats the reason why they're thinking of implementing the rule to not allow signing of people above a certain level to the BBB leagues.

Maybe a homer pick here. But I actually like Uncle Sam's Misguided Children's chances of being a sleeper team. Last year we started 0-5 then had a winning record from that point on to finish 6-10. We kept most of the same players. I haven't done the math, but it looks like we are right around the league average as far as levels go, maybe even slightly below average. I like our chances to make the playoffs this year.

Either way it should be a fun season. I look forward to the games and I will be much more active in this forum this season.

I would have liked to have added the Shadowblades (formerly of Sacramento) into this conversation, but half our roster ended up doing the Albuquerque shuffle in reverse.
Therefore, I nominate us for the S4 sleeper award! Good luck to everyone this year...

Like I've told everyone else, by all means, be biased towards your team. People put a lot of effort into this, they /should/ be proud of it.

Nice way to finish out last season.

And will repeat, sorta, good luck to almost everyone.

Hey, we try. N.H. clearly has some work to do to catch up with N.B. and N.Y., but we definitely are going to try. We certainly do our share of scouting and game planning.

That said, I expect dogfights from the improved Menzingers and CyberHawks squads, along with the teams we were racing with right down to the wire this year - such as Michigan, both Miamis, Akron and the Vipers.

Going to be a tough division, and I expect a fight for the playoffs yet again.

I don't think there will be any easy road...sorry for not being active guys...tring to stay ahead of all you and been hitting the recuritment trail...well back to work...this next seasonis going to be tough

Given how often we keep running into each other on the trail, you seem to be doing a good job.
Anyone who looks past you next season may be in trouble.

yes you and I have seen each other a bunch...but we took a hard blow to the team today..one of my gm's got a new team and took all his players with him..he never let me belive he was leaving untill it was to late..so back to the forums I go..about had it all set to.

thanks for complenment..you have been putting the hours in your self i hope it pays off for...just not against us..lol

Man, that's rough. Good luck - I've seen your pitches, and know you do a good job out there. I also know you guys do your homework. No matter what it looks like on paper with the losses, I expect to see you play people tough this season.

thanks...finnaly got the team reset after the little mishap...got a amped up recin=ving core..the whole dline stayed intaced...all the lbs' but one stayed..getting a nice upgrade day 3.........
thank you on the complment for my little sells pitch
i know you got to be ready for the season..ytou have been working hard..I lost count on the post after the 100th one where you and i went after the same FA
now the time is almost here to see all the grunt work come to play...gl to all..it should be intense...hope to meet in the playoffs

I'll say it again fellas, don't let Detroit sneak up on you. Their roster is solid and everyone is signed for 2 years or more. I wouldn't be surprised if they are a home game playoff team.

They do have a good roster, and those contracts should give them some solid continuity. A good playoff berth wouldn't surprise me at all.
I'll worry about them shortly here, still scheming and working on adjustments for tonight's game before I worry about much else.

I've been looking at our leage and it wouldn't suprise me if a couple of 7-9 teams get into the playoffs this year. This league has done a ton of recruiting and now most teams in the league look to be on an even playing field. It wouldn't really suprise me if this leage ranks first in the BBB as far as average player level.

So now that season 3 is officially over, it's nice to pull up threads like this and see who got it right and who whiffed on a knuckleball. Let's see ....

In the West people were saying Chicago and Midwest the most, with an Anchorage, Las Colinas and USMC thrown in. Chicago, Midwest and Anchorage all were playoff teams last year, while Las Colinas and USMC had disappointing seasons. No more chest thumping in Sooner Nation!! USMC, drop and give me 20!!!

In the East the consensus was New Hampshire, Makos and Scranton, with a few Salem's and Detroit's in there as well. While the Hustlers, Outlaws and Menzingers all barely missed the playoffs in perhaps the closest playoff race known to man, the Makos clearly were the winner of 'sleeper of the year' award. I say that because nobody outside of Miami expected a 13 win season from the Makos. Salem has to be mentioned due to the reversal of fortunes they had, but in the end I still would go with the Makos for 'sleeper of the year'.

Salem deserves some kind of award just due to the fact that they changed from the questionably named 'Jersey Boyz' to something more masculine. 'Jersey Boyz' might have been ok for the metro-sexual fan base I suppose, but fellas, this is football. If you have the word 'Boyz' in your team name, there's a problem. At any rate, excellent job Hawks!

A little shout out needs to go to the teams that made the playoffs but were not on anyones radar - I'm talking about Gulf State here, who improved from 5 wins to make the playoffs. And I'm talking about Vice City, who improved from 7 wins to make the playoffs. Kudos all around for those teams. Maybe Gulf State was the real sleeper of the year, since nobody even named them, then they got off to a rough start due to a brutal schedule ... yet they made the playoffs with an incredible run to finish the season.
