The Vikes are definitely better off with Favre as QB than with the clusterfuck they had. The question is does he break down over the course of the year. Playing in a dome will help him, as he is no longer able the brave the elements like he was in his youth. Seemed to hinder him pretty bad in NY, and also the last few years in GB. If he doesn't break down, you still run the risk of him throwing a patented mind numbing interception during crunch time that will make you wonder wtf he was thinking. Gonna be interesting cause Minny is stacked.

i think the risk of him throwing a mind numbing interception far undermines the fact of what he will exceed at....which is coming to the line of scrimmage, seeing the defense, and then audible to the slant route. In which case after he has done that so many times, the defense tries to pick up on it...only to have Brett audible Peterson or Chester up the middle...people get so caught up on Brett's numbers at QB that they fail to realize what he really brings to the table.

Ben Leber of the Minnesota Vikings was on KFAN radio and he was saying how Brett would come to the line, wink at a defender when he seen the defense because he was that confident he knew what was coming...he said thats when you know your in trouble.

And for a Minnesota fan...i cant imagine watching Brett throw a pick would be any worse than watching Tarvaris throw his patented jump pass for a pick 6 or the continuous targeting of the foot of the WR. The worst part about TJ and Sage are that the coach is telling them what play to run and giving them little room to audible...in which case people stack the line because never will TJ or Sage audible to a pass in that situation and its a good chance MN would be running the ball.

Poor Viking fans are so desperate for a SB, they will do anything to get one. Too bad the franchise is destined to fail forever. Poor bastards still wont win the division this season. Childress will get fired, Favre will have the excuse that his arm was too sore and AD will continue to make the Vikes look like the Barry Sanders Lions with a better D.

Ouch that hurts! Texan gets a timeout for hitting below the belt.

That was a bit mean, but I am still enjoying all those Super Bowl rings. Too bad Dallas hasn't done a damn thing since then.

No doubt, Childress is an idiot. Actually, the whole managment part of the Vikings sucks, not quite as bad as the Lions but they aint good.
