If I had time, I'd analyze the data using a multiple regression for height and weight and see if that is true: as your weight goes up, so do broken tackles. Of course, there are tons of uncontrolled variables. But just for the sake of thought, do you guys at 220 lbs break as many tackles as those at 245-250?
You'd have to weed out the plethora of blocking backs like my guy first. Tough row to hoe.

Level 66 offensive/balanced build (5'11" 250lbs)
S11 (SAPL): 1.127 broken tackles per touch average.
S10 (SAPL): 1.051 broken tackles per touch average.
S9 (Can AAA): 0.938 broken tackles per touch average.
S8 (USA AA and SA AA): 1.594 broken tackles per touch average.
S7 (USA AA): 0.876 broken tackles per touch average.
Career: 0.758 broken tackles per touch average.
My build is not very special, our power RB has a better build (higher attributes, more tackle breaking SAs and we have the same VAs... I think I have better AEQ choices though). Yet I'm 36lbs heavier and break considerably more tackles... he is averaging 0.772 broken tackles per touch, this season... that's a 0.355 difference (or just under 50% more broken tackles).

I like the 5'11", 250 lb builds and wish I would have targeted that for my power fullback. I think something like this would be ideal...although I really don't think it matters that much, if all else remains the same.
Receiving Fullback - 6'5", 220-235 lbs.
Blocking Fullback - 6'3" 240-250 lbs
Power Fullback - 5'11-6'0' 250 lbs

I don't think height matters as much as weight TBPH... our power HB is the same height as MAK... the only real difference is I'm 36lbs heavier. I might have +18% more break tackle chance (I'm not exactly positive what his AEQ is). Although he has higher strength, carrying, confidence and vision (plus like 5 lower the shoulder and stiff arm).
It's either X-factor or the weight, I can't really see it being anything else.

My 6'1 - 223 receiving FB gets about .6 broken tackles per reception, which isn't bad considering he is more of an elusive style build.

6'3 241. Unfortunately he hasn't seen that many runs lately save for goal line and very short yardage situations so only managed a little less then .5 broken tackles per rush. A big factor in all of this is the opponent you're facing. As you start getting into higher levels opposing D is going to have more options to improve their tackling ability, through attributes, SAs, AEQs and VAs. This makes breaking tackles harder even with the bonuses we can get.
I'm going to say weight has SOME factor to break blocking, but probably not as much as we might think. I know the sim takes momentum into account, so possibly having a great agility and good speed score will help as well to get that mountain rolling down hill and give the FB the edge to break a tackle at the line. Not sure if height is taken into account for breaking a tackle, as I'm not sure if the sim is complex enough to take into account center of gravity.
