Sounds cool though.

I have about 50 players on here and run 2 teams from start to finish (South GA Falcons and Pittbulls), but i'd be interested in making a player or two for someone who has a team, so for one of you owners,

I am The Funky 1, all my players have the last name Fountain and their are a bunch of them, but anyway, just shoot me a pm and let's get together on what positions are needed.

thanks

Send me a PM about what positions you would like to create!

I have one question. How are you gonna insure that the teams not in a casual league use basic tactics? IMO it should only be casual teams to make sure it's fair.

Most teams are casual and if we have a couple of teams that aren't, we'll be able to keep an eye on them.

All our owners are doing this for fun and have agreed to the rules.

From our discussions, it was unanimous that we use casual teams and basic setting whenever possible.

How would free agency work?

Sure I'll give this a shot. I'm totally down for creating a player for someone.

This sounds like a good idea. I know quite a few guys who have been on since Season 1 or 2, if not in the Alpha seasons who are ready to nuke their players, teams, etc. and get some cash back from GLB.

The Casual League was a nice attempt, but then you get the Boosted Team v. the Non-Boosted Team and hours worth of game planning out the window (well, prior to Casual League).

I may have some low-level players I could make available. Unless we have to make Level 1 guys again, then I'll need to retire some & start fresh. My apologies if I missed that part, on a break from work & will try to re-read later tonight when I have time.

Good concept though!!

From my understanding any player created after day 31 season 11 and has never boosted is eligible to join a team.

Yes.

We've already discussed possible expansion for next season.

It will be easy to do since the Pee Wee players (assuming they have not boosted) are built within the same rules.

The Owner's Association will discuss all rules and will decide what players will be acceptable each offseason.
A typical typ of acceptable players next season might look like this.

Created on or after Day 31, Season 11
No greater than level 10

As long as players fit the creation date and max level, I assume there will be no problems.

We have also discussed the possibility of having a draft for FA's, but I don;t know that it is likely since I don;t think that many players will be leaving their teams.

The League will always remain flexible to change the rules according to situations that arise.

That's why we have the Owner's Association and they will vote on all decisions made for the League.
