Great job pat and his interviewees. Lol at everyone and their mothers picking the wolfpack, its like they want to jinx their chances.

If only there were injuries, Street would be guaranteed to blow his ACL in the last preseason game just to create some drama. Since there's not, I pick the Wolfpack too.

Can you imagine injuries in this game? That would suck! lol. It would be more realistic. Just imagine having Street go down like you said or Pierce Dravz go down for the season (like Tom Brady)!

yeah I know I know. But that was with Trav's run 50 times a game offense! I did great Season 6 then Trav decided Season 7 he wasn't going to pass!

And if I remember well he left in the 1st round that season... lol

Funny because... Daniel Easter took us to championship game that season, while partlow got a brutal loss in the 1st round... just sayin... lol

Yeah and if you want to know who we lost to in that First round... The Fuckin Nashville Hounds! They probably didn't realize where my hostility towards them came from. So, Now you know! Partly caused Tim's ORIGINAL team to gut! I hate you Hounds! lol Nah I don't I just hold a minor grudge over that game!

Ha! That is the season we should have won AAA and made it up to Pro two seasons earlier before we went backwards for 1.5 seasons. If CCCC just let us win that game, we could have avoided the whole WSI scandal. See what you f'n did, Pierre! It's all your fault!

Should hold it against the guy who decided to run 50 times a game.
Just sayin'...

Well I have my own grudges against Trav and he with me. But it's like a marriage you work through the problems. I've known him since season 1. And yes he's done some stupid/irrational things. But I have as well. I've yelled at him in private forums. He's yelled at me. But we're still here and still moving on!

The next one who gladly accepted to talk with our host is the owner of the Minnesota Marauders and also one of the GLB mods, Galkuris!

Larry: Hi Galkuris! How is it going?

Galkuris: Pretty good.

Larry: How do you feel now that we are in the preseason?

Galkuris: Bored, but ready to see our dots play.

Larry: You have been in USAPL for a long time, how can you explain the success the squad had during all those years?

Galkuris: Luck, one of the biggest additions to the team came when the Detroit Nasty owner went inactive. I was able to steal the DC from there and our defense has been top notch since. Recruiting is also big. We started out poorly at the beginning but some huge additions over the years helped get us on track.

Larry: Now, lets go back in time, what is the history of your team?

Galkuris: We started out pretty poorly in the USA Pro going 8-8 in year one, but then I found out a huge chunk of the roster was not boosting. The next season was pretty bad for us and eventually we had to make some major changes. The first major change was bringing in 4 more of bigtisme's guys and 3 of It66's. Having those major recruits helped us land several others over the next few season's and helped us get up to the top. In Season 4 we made the playoffs after a 3 season drought and have been there for 7 straight seasons, including a Western Conference Championship in Season 7.

Larry: Who was for you the most valuable guy on your team last season?

Galkuris: I don't think you can put a most valuable player tag on anyone on our team. Everyone has a role and they fill it well. Instead of picking a particular player I will say our big uglies fighting in the trenches. Our offense would be nothing if it weren't for our huge O-line and amazing blockers at FB and TE. Along with that our D-line sets the tempo both against the run and pass.

Larry; How do you approach this 11th season in GLB?

Galkuris: We tried to get a couple of younger players in, but in general we are approaching it like every season. We will worry about the future when it comes, but for now our only goal is a Gold Trophy.

Larry: You know that you are one of the favorites to win it all and go to the World League, does that put you and your squad more pressure to succeed this season?

Galkuris: Not at all. This season is no different than the last 3-4 where we have had a shot to win the USAPL. If there is any pressure it is that our players are getting old and I would like to see them win that gold trophy. Many of them were around for our first trophy but second place is never enough for a competitive person such as myself.

Larry; Time for a quick prediction: Who has the best chance (except your team of course) to win the USAPL crown this season?

Galkuris: A lot of people will say the obvious of ***O*** or WW, but I think a team to watch out for is the Blaze.

Larry: Well, it is time folks, thanks Galkuris for coming here, it was a pleasure having you as our guest and good luck for the season to come!

Galkuris: Thanks for having me!

Good write and interview. I think he's spot on about the Blaze also.
