LOL if MJD was still MM's receiving HB, he would have won MVP last season.
On MM and WW, they both do...it just so happens that MJD and Street actually were used at HB while Maddox was used more at WR. And I doubt he could win a rushing title if he had to split carries with 2 other HBs. If MM wanted to have MJD win a rushing title, he could too.
EDIT: Oh and as a rusher, I don't think he's as good as Street or MJD.
Let's see Earl had higher ypc both running and catching than MJD, more total yards on 25% fewer touches and nearly as many TDs with those fewer touches...oh, and of course, fewer fumbles. jrry = fail. Earl = FTW!
This is a thread about RBs, if I wanted a thread about Receiving Backs then Earl would be in it. Lets break down what they did as runners in big games and discover Earl's YPC was inflated.
Mo Jones-Drew vs. HHW - 3.2 ypc
Mo Jones-Drew vs. MEM - 8.7 ypc
Mo Jones-Drew vs. WW - 6 ypc
Mo Jones-Drew vs. Nash - 5.9 ypc
Mo Jones-Drew vs. Ketchikan - 4.3 ypc
Earl Maddox vs. OTR - 2.6 ypc
Earl Maddox vs. HHW - 2.8 ypc
Earl Maddox vs. MEM - 3.2 ypc
Earl Maddox vs. WW - 2.3 ypc
Earl Maddox vs. KKAR - 2.6 ypc
Earl Maddox vs. MM - 4.4 ypc
This is a thread about RBs, not scat RBs(WRs). Maddox isn't in MJD's or Street's league when it comes to rushing, his YPC was inflated because he didn't have that many carries and did well vs. not so great opponents although he did have a good game in the playoffs. And saying he had more total yards in less carries isn't saying much since half his touches were catches so of course he'll have more yards per touch.
Oh and MJD's team in the playoffs > Earl's team in the playoffs so Earl obviously wasn't FTW.
