At all levels of the game I've noticed that its very easy to overestimate the amount opponents actually scout/adjust and as such its very easy to over think yourself into losses imo...

Well, it rarely happens to me, but it sure as s*** did there

It has happened to me quite a bit.

But never against the same GMs. One of the most important aspects of scouting is scouting how other teams scout, imo.

The supercomputer is all-knowing and these rankings should be taken very, very seriously. I even looked at some of the team pages for the teams I didn't know.

I dunno, for me the scouting I do depends on factors no one else can predict, real life variables (how much actual WORK do I need to do? Did my son actually go (and stay) asleep at the time he should? Is my wife feeling needy tonight? Am I just hitting a temporary GLB work burnout and need to take a few days off?)

clearly none of those factors distracted you from holding us to 3 points last season

no, not really. From Lincoln on I was pretty good, although rl got crazier and crazier as the playoff came. In fact I was stuck with on-call support the week of the playoffs. It didn't prevent me from putting good gameplans out for Lincoln and HHW, but I (at the time) was absolutely worried I'd have little shot at dealing with MEM based on day 38 timing. This was compunded by electrical issues at home all that time. It took everything I had to keep DCing. I needed a rl break but playoffs come when playoffs come. Part of why I retired.

Of course, we didn't get that far, so null issue.
