Well, you are right about that. He dominated African AAA so well (jerk off motion) that I think it would work well in the pro's as well.
55 vision 13 super vision. He was also a run stopper, he was good in coverage but he would get faked sometimes.

The way I see it now, everyone should retire their season 1 and 2 players. There is no point in keeping a guy who wasn't build in the new system. You get better training and bonus tokens now and all that. Better to start from square one.

It took me a long time to find super vision A.E. then even longer to save the BT for it. I'd rather just start a new one in the same context. Build him better, and have all the BT I will ever need when he matures.

nothing special really. I was working confidence up towards the end. I should have put it in tackling instead. I saw a big difference in his play with higher confidence, but it probably would have been better in tackling.

Plus the higher agility than normal made him better than a lot of guys you see leaving it low.

He would literally move the same speed every cut, every change direction. I also think his agility helped him get up super fast. H.B's could magic juke ray him and he would get up and make the tackle anyway.

Thanks for sharing UD.

More tackling means...? It's not as though you were missing many iirc....

Apparently tackling causes more "forced fumbles" and I would have liked to miss less even though he played on power tackling all the time.

I think from your build you basically had a super aggressive DE smashin' Backs

UD, what was the big difference in performance that increased confidence gave your player? I'm trying to decide how high I want to take conf on my safeties and CB's.

confidence shouldn't be touched until the rest of your build is properly rounded out. It's important... but it's not something you sacrifice the rest of your build for.

interesting. i was thinking about bring up strength high for my SS. Making it my 3rd attribute to triple cap after speed/agility.

Good idea imo

But I'd still get vision to 60.

I understand the build priorities. 63.05 confidence is pretty high. What I'm asking about is what differences did UD see in his player's performance as he raised confidence to those higher levels?

He was a lot better in the playoffs.

He would always play harder than everyone else. That's about all I can really say I saw from raising it. It made him more "solid" so to speak. sometimes you see dots slow down or look lost, and you have no Idea why. It never happened to him. he knew where to go and what he was doing. I think it helped him get better reads on passing plays too.

I think it helped him get up fast a long with agility.

He also seemed a lot faster than 102 speed.

this is what I suggest to any S.S who wants to be a hard hitter.

I'd would do it like this though.

Speed to 68 agility to 68.

then str to 49. then vision to 49. You don't want to completely suck with no vision till like level 40. LOL.

once vision is 49 go back to str to 68. then start on tackling. Vision can stay low for a while, It's not a priority, really, in a hard hitting build. Plus you can make up for low vision with High super vision if you so choose to. If I could do it all again I would have got monster hit up to 13 instead of SV though. Just go all out hard hitter, With 5% force fumble chance +1 monster hit (2 peices) got str up to about 80 or 90 even. But kept speed and agility 90/80 at the very least. Then go all out with power tackler helmet crash, and anything and everything that helps force fumbles.
