Predictable response. Neither team planned for that game, as has already been addressed. Good win for you guys though, and I said so at the time.

Also addressed the fact that we're in by default. I have no problem saying we don't deserve it, and I'd have much rather earned a promotion. But we're not going to roll over just because we shouldn't be there.

Look forward to yet another WEPL scrimmage next season, if you're up for it.

I agree, it was an honor for Korb to make the World League. Which is why I think it was weak of them to reject that honor.

And as we've said from the beginning, we would much rather have won our way into the World League. We didn't want to get in the way we did. But we're also not going to shrink from the challenge now that we're faced with it.

Sorry, I'm gonna disagree with that..

Until you win in the playoffs, you haven't proved shit..

BFM went 15-1 and 16-0 in the regular seasons during seasons 7 and 8. Only to lose in the playoffs. We didn't prove shit.

After we took gold in season 9, is when people knew we were proven WEPL Contenders.

I respect you saying "I wish we earned our way and will try our best", I really respect that attitude, but coming on here and taking shots like this at Korb is unnecessary.

Everyone has an interest level in this game.. idk if Korb wants to have to go up there and have to game plan their ass off every time. Maybe Korb likes coasting in the regular season and only worrying about the playoffs. Who knows?

Anyway, I am not trying to pick a fight with you or take a shot at your team.. just sticking up for the best team in Zeta this season.

In fact, up in world league, I am gonna support you as much as possible because I want us WEPL teams to stick together and show everyone we aren't weak!

They, umm, did try. At least as much as we did (which was zero offensively, we ran the exact same offense as we did against you guys). Pretty sure it was us that did the bitch slapping. Not saying they're not more talented than us, just saying it's not the foregone conclusion you make it out to be.

If it is a honor to be in a conference final just at the moment a thing that was never announced, where thrown out of the window and comes back again through the backdoor, than we where honored. But I could decide if this is a honor for me and if I I take that honor or not.

If kgarlett is thinkig we are a pussy team, I have no problem with it. He can think what he want, I donīt care about it.

Only thing when I get pissed is when a guy like Ultrageier jumps into this forum and tells everyone we have to leave this league blablabla and calling players from our team outsiders when they post something about why are donīt moving up.

I donīt know who he is and I donīt care where he come from, but that are the things that gets me angry.

Just for the record, in season 5 or 6 when the World League was also discussed I allready posted many times that I donīt want to play in World League and I want to stay in WEPL (like almost 90% of the WEPL owner at this time) I never realized anything about the world leuge since just before the playoffs when I discused some player movements with ZickZack and he gave me the link to one of the many world league threads and my first reaction was: Oh no, not this bullshit again.

There are a few simple reasons why we donīt want to move up and I allready posted them in some different threads, but here are all together.

- our players donīt want to play in the world league, they like to finish their career here,

- I donīt want to play in the same league with some of the real GLB idiots that are thinking that they are the greatest peace of shit on earth and everybody has to homoage their dots. Many of them belongs to some World League teams

- there is no real concept behind this whole thing, till today it is not clear how demotion will be handled and where demoted teams will end up. A we will try from Bort it is not enough for me, that like: I donīt know and a have never thought abut it

- I will be away almost the complete August, being at home only 3-4 days the whole month, so there would be nobody that could handle our Offense. Our DC also is on vacation in August so we would have had a team without anyone setting up Offense or Defense for the first 10 games.

- For me this game is fun and playing in a world league it would become like work cause you have to gameplan and to scout and Iīm allready working 12 hours per day.

- There was never a thought that we could dominate WEPL if we donīt move up and could win the league championship here. I have enough trophys won allready that I donīt need to care about this
To be honest, Zeta Championship for me is more important than the WEPL championship. We play against Zeta teams 15 times every season, we play Alpha once a season, for me Alpha is a different league

- we are not playing this game like some others do. For me it looks like many owner/agents in GLB want respect from others for the archievements of their teams, players or silly positng skills. We are not playing for respect, we are playing for fun. We have nothing to prove to anyone.

- We donīt like the overall athmosphare that this World League created in the forums. GLB idiots form USAPL/CPL are spamming the forum, everyone has his own wothless opinion who should play in this league and who should not play and everyone is self promoting and fishing for respect. We donīt like this.

- Overall this whole World League is something we really donīt like and why we should be part of it and paying money for being part of something we donīt like?

So that are all the reason to opt out of the World League and looking at the new World League forum proves us that we made the right decision. And if there is an option to deny playing in this league than there is nothing wrong with using this option. A

I hope that I could explain why we didnīt move into this league, it is dificult for me to try to explain all this kind of complicated stuff in english.

Well DM.....I for one am behind you and feel it is your's and your team's decision whether to go or not, if nobody else likes it, too friggin bad for them. the option was given and you made your decision....that should be enough.

If your going to be a dead team for the first 10 games then damn maybe you should have just sold and went out on top. I certainly won't want to 'finish' my playing career playing for a dead team, in Pro no less, 2/3rd's of a season, and I don't care how long I've been on the team.

Not a single reason that involves forum activity holds water. Not one game is decided on what you or others post and where. If you don't like those forums, don't go in them. Players with lots of teams never even visit league forums ever, and either do you if you don't want to.

And not one time did I say you 'had' to leave, those were bort's words in the announcement, which apparently was worthless words because your still here.

You have a Top 32 team, you backed out of a league for those Top 32 teams, period. None of your 'reasons' are worth a shit.

A poster related this to a team that lost the Championship game from the 7th seed still gets moved from AA to AAA even if he doesn't want to, or from AAA to Pro, but yet you were able to do it from Pro to WL in what is now natural progression of the game, I don't care when or how is game to be, it just is period.
