IMO, the Shockers are the best team to ever play this game, let alone in this ssn. What they did, against the teams they did it, can't be touched. Absolutely no disrespect to Bonn, they're a hell of a team, but no way you're going to beat a team built like Bonn unless you GP hard for them. I'm confident that the Shockers were focusing all their energies on MEM. Even if you discount that, The Shockers played a significantly harder sched and only lost 1 game. Bonn lost 2 with a significant easier sched (awesome team, no disrespect intended).
This Shockers team is easily the best team to ever play dot ball, IMO...That also says a shit ton about MEM.
Plus the Shockers did it with less levels, which is a testament to their tactics and builds. And you would have to pick them as the best team overall just for the duration of time that they have dominated. Teams like the Pushovers and Nighthawks didn't do it for nearly as long as Cinci, so for all-time considerations I would definitely agree they are the best team to play the game. Dominating performances in USAPro, and even more impressive they have always been classy and professional and a highly respectable group at all times. They have hit many pinnacles in this game in many different areas.

Kinda meaningless to have two teams that wouldn't be in the Pros next season to battle for the Pro Trophy???

I obviously agree completely, including the "classy and professional" part. This game can be extremely frustrating, yet I've never once, going all the way back to ssn 1 with them, every saw them bitch, toss a hissy fit, over use exploits (Bort's fault, not the teams that did, but still) or treat any team with anything but respect. Pure class team, no doubt about it.

Exactly. That's why I give people like CV such a hard time. Here we are moments after Cinci just won the title, in OT no less, and for a perfect season no less, and all CV and his cohorts can do is find ways to attack me and create multiple threads about me. Why is everything about me in quantity and in volume at such a huge moment like this for a team like Cinci?? And it's all instigated by CV himself personally as the main impetus in this type of negative hysteria.
Shame on you CV and MEM.

I realise their main priority was the USA Pro trophy, but it would've been even better to have the PWT title too.
They threw that game to see what weaknesses they had before the USAPL Final, it's p obvious.
Yeah, I talked to Miken about that when I saw the score.

Hold on there a second..........Pls don't go dragging me into the shit fest between you and MEM or use my quotes or agreement with yours as a means of doing so. Absolutely NONE of what I said had a damn thing to do with them, except the comment that them going into OT with the Shockers, damn near winning the game themselves, speaks volumes of how damn good MEM is. Otherwise, none of anything I wrote had anything to do with MEM in the least
Edit: Actually, I think MEM has handled this game extremely admirably, and I tip my hat to them/us (since they are one of the teams I work with the closest).

How can you say "admirably" when they crowded the forum with multiple threads about me when we should be talking about something important and relevant to what is going on in the game?

Because it has nothing to do with that game. Honestly, there are no innocent victims in the pissing match between you and them. Both sides just keep poking the other with a stick. One time it's started by someone from MEM, the next it's started by you. Sorry, but neither can even pretend to be innocent in all of this stupid shit.
with that, I'm out...PLS respect my request and keep me out.
