1. Montana
2. Elway
3. Favre
4. Marino
5. Brady
6. Otto
7. Aikman
8. Bradshaw
9. Manning
10. Rex Grossman
hahaha. JK about the Grossman. He can be good with good blocking, but never top 10, or top 100 for that matter.

C'mon guys. Grossman is not that bad, I bet even Montana couldn't do much better behind that line. A good QB needs a good line.

Well, you must not watch much Bears footage. In '07 it was AWFUL. I watched the Bears Broncos game just today, and I swear there was AT LEAST 1 Bronco breaking through every single play. And a lot of the times there were 2 or 3.
In the SB run, its wasn't horrible, but the age did start wearing around the 6th week, which just so happened to be that bitter sweet win in Arizona.

Not all. I'm not saying Gross is Montana or Brady, but he could be good (not Great) if he had a better line. After we picked up Chris Williams, it is obvious we are going to be passing more. Hopefully that improved line will allow Gross to get some peoples bad image of him to be gone.

Dude I'm a Bears fan and I stood up for him for about 13 games in 06, then he let me down. Not going to trust this guy anymore, he's the only player on one of my favorite teams that I actually hate.

Grossman didn't have a very good line, but I don't think you can say another QB would do badly behind his line.
What goes overlooked in a lot of situations, is that very good QBs can play well behind below-average O-Lines. Favre did it last year and the beginning of this year. Drew Brees has been doing it in New Orleans. Brady did it for a little while back when he was first getting started in New England.
When a good QB plays behind a below-average line, he can mask its inefficiencies. The QBs like Favre and Brees have quick enough releases that they can get the ball out before the D-Linemen get through.
Grossman got hurried a lot, but he also couldn't get the ball out very fast. I think Grossman will never be successful as a QB, because he is indecisive--and when he does make decisions, they're very often wrong.
And I don't know what the Bears are thinking, putting the starting job up for grabs with Grossman and Orton. Then again, I thought the Frye-Anderson combo was doomed as well.
