Well its less of a big deal in USA Pro, but players will still try to get to the best team that they can in general. Teams in the lower leagues that start the death spiral rarely recover.

In USA Pro, its pretty tough to get a player that a better team is competing for. Your best hope is to have no other solid teams after the player.

Or actually take the time, make a connection to the person.

I'm just saying its tougher. Yes, networking and bringing in people you already know is the biggest thing a team that isn't on top can do. But a top team can just drop their name and get anyone they want (pretty much). It's not impossible, but just much easier. Less successful teams need to work much harder than the most successful teams. Teams way out of the running have an even harder time. I don't see how any of this is debatable or even rocket science. Recruiting this offseason with a 9-7 record has been 50x easier than recruiting last season with a 3-13 record.

Well, one of the problems is that the best teams will upgrade their top notch talent in the off season by adding the best recruits, which wouldn't be a problem if the good players they were replacing would return to the FA pool. However, what i see happen most often is that the agent with the older players just retire them for flex. If people weren't so quick to retire their high level players there would be more top talent but you can blame them with how expensive it is to maintain just 1 player

Doesnt take away the fact that for how much shit their team talks on a daily basis, you'd think they would have championships out the ass. They havent won a damn thing in 6 seasons, no conference title, no significant tourney, nothing.

Maybe they should spend less time running their mouths on the forums and more time scouting their playoff opponents? Cause it seems they totally GAG every single season in the playoffs

Maybe because they play the best teams? There are at least 8 teams in the USA Pro that would win some other Pro Leagues titles without much of an issue.

WSI isn't allowed to talk. They probably wouldn't even win a USA AAA (look how much better the new call ups were this season) title let alone be relevant in USAPL.
