What the reason is for waiting until day 31 to create the player? I get that if you join a lvl 1 player to a team on day 31 they will end the season with 900 XP, but if you create the player before that and wait until day 31 to join the CPU team it should accomplish the same thing, right?

Build a player today you will have 10 days at 100 xps = level 2 (no one can sign that player)
Build a player tomorrow you will have 900 xps so on the very first night in season 2 you will be a level 2
Build a player on the beginning next season, you will be 1 hole level behind teams who built players on day 31.

Back in my day we had to walk 3 miles in the snow to create a player.
