all depends on the kind of corner you want to have. my CB for example... definitely a play maker. and while not every team wants him, when he goes FA, my inbox is full within 24 hours. there are teams that want play making CBs.

Any high level CB gets their inboxes full. The guys with low tackles/pds with a good ratio (like 1:1) are likely to get alot MORE because they shut down their sides of the field and force the QB to throw in other places. Getting thrown at 200+ times a season and allowing 100+ passes isn't being a playmaker.

Not to knock your player, just saying.

When you advance leagues do your skills decrease or does the competition just get better. IE a kicker who is perfect 3 seasons in a row in BBB/ minors, when he trys AA can he still expect perfection or do the goalposts shrink or something...

No, it actually means you're getting BETTER

Int's were nerfed. Don't know why, but they were this season.

I don't think Int's were nerfed, but the numbers are down some because teams all over GLB have figured out that the best pass play in the game right now is the HB screen pass. Sack numbers have doubled in S10 from S9 so some of the passes att's that were intercepted before end in sacks now. My 2 CB's finished with 10 & 7 int's which is p close to where they were in S9.

This actually pissess me off. Why in the world would catching be worthless for a CB? But JD, you seem to be right. There have been times this season where my CB jumped the WR's route being in perfect position for a pick 6. Then he deflects a pass (which should have been caught) and the WR still makes the reception. Why are WR getting the benefit of the doubt on everything?

Whatever...how about you compare you level 57 c.b. to my level 40 corner back. they look pretty much the same. The build might be your problem. you don't know how to.

I have no idea what your talking about. I would put my CB up against any WR. There is absolutley no problem with by build. I never get give up anything. No TD's, no 1st downs no nothing! I believe you have no idea what your talking about. You can't even see my build.

And by the way, don't ever compare your LVL 40 CB's to my LVL 57 again. Play in a league where there are high level players first!

lOl you pretty much word for word gave the build in a different thread. you said like 100 speed 70 agility. My level 40's have that.

Notice the + after the attribute? And I'm doubting that your other attributes, vet points and special abilities are anywhere close to mine.

What disturbs me though is pass deflections. I have very good jumping and catching attributes while having a catching bonus as well. Yet, I only have 1 INT this season.

Why would a CB with such high jumping and catching attributes only have 1 INT to 30+ PD?

IMO if your CB has a ton of tackles that means he's getting beat by the WR
If the ball never comes your way you've got the WR pretty well covered.
Personally I don't care if I get INT's, I just don't want to give up the big play or TD's.

amen.

Agreed. So tell me why tackles lead over PDs in the stats? I could have no tackles/miss tackles and ten PDs, but a guy that gets two tackles but zero PDs rates better. If I where a stat slut I'd pad the coverage distance so my guy would get more tackles.

UD, do you always do this because you actually think your level 40 is better, or is it (as I think) you just want to see other cb's builds?
