I came here to tell you that last night my friend died in a car crash. She was my age (17) and a drunk driver took her away from her family. The guy passed out behind the wheel and hit her head on. Both her and her younger brother died (14).

Not only was she my friend, she was my cousin's first love which I don't know what to begin to think is going through his head. I'm scared to call him and talk to him.

Please, everybody pray for her and her family. This was one of those special people you meet who could make you laugh in your darkest times.

Sorry to hear, Cody. I have 3 kids 21, 16 and 14 so that age group for me hits home. My prayers are with you, friends and family.

PS: Don't be afraid to go to your cousin, he needs you more now than ever. Doesn't matter if you say anything or not just being there means everything.

i have nothing to do with USA pro or anything but i came across this and i had to say im sorry for u and every1 that was hurt by this. It really sucks and its just horrible things like this have to happen.

The drunk driver has 2 broken legs and a crushed colon and messed up liver. Don't know if he will make it.

Courtney and her brother are both dead, as well as a friend of theirs who was riding along (name I don't know, he wasn't from here). The friend died today at the hospital, he was med-flighted out after the wreak and was in critical condition.

If the driver lives he will have 3 deaths that will haunt him.

The support that friends and community members have given the family is absolutely astonishing. I don't live in a big town here in Arkansas. So this stuff really makes the community grow and support each other.

Just reading the facebook wall post on her account will let you see how much she was liked and loved by everybody. She was truly an amazing person, but the big man upstairs had plans for her.

I wish everybody could have met this young girl, she will always have a piece of my heart and if you gave a little time with her, I know she would have the same effect of everybody here.

I'm sorry to hear this and my thoughts and prayers are with the families of the ones who died.

Indeed, very sad. My sister had a terrible experience as well, a passenger in her vehicle was killed and she ended up serving some jail time for it as well, so I can sympathize with you knowing what kind of terrible pain this type of thing can bring to many peoples' lives. Sorry to hear about your nice friend.

Earlier this week I stopped 4 teenage girls from getting in a vehicle where the one girl was intoxicated.

Her and my family have my prayers as well brother. So many people are killed by drunk drivers every years its sickening. Call your cousin man and let him know that you are here for him. Family is a huge part of the healing process in times like this. God is with the family and all affected by this tragedy.
