People aren't doing it all wrong, they are just building WRs not TEs.

If you had to put a GLB strength number on T.O. or Boldin what would it be?

Probably about 65. But how many drops does T.O. have?

Strength doesn't help a WR in GLB the same way it would in real life, such as competing for the ball which is not existent in GLB because it's based on rolls.

Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss > T.O., Anquan Boldin

I swore that pumping strength when I had a strength WR brought his catching percentage up...

Would you know from experience? From what I can see with Cassius Clay he doesn't get passes knocked loose nearly as much, he blocks way better, and he drops less passes.

2 Plays from a scrim today. If he's not good at breaking tackles he's not scoring TD's on these.

If he wasn't good at breaking tackles, he'd have some other build strength to use there.

Saying they're doing it wrong is like saying elusive HBs are doing it wrong for not being power HBs...

Just saying.

How about the past 2 seasons or career wise Moss v Owens and Fitzgerald v Boldin.

Excluding all off-the-field issues I'm pretty sure teams would rather have Randy Moss or Larry Fitzgerald than Terrell Owens or Anquan boldin.

1) Power HB's don't get treated like Elusive HB's, and Elusives don't get treated like Power HBs
2) "Most of you are doing it all WRONG!" ... that does not mean all. Im not saying everyone should be a power WR. Im saying have a plan, talk to your OC, stick with a team, and develop a build that works with your philosophy.
3) Fitzgerald, Boldin, TO, Moss.... in that order.

Currently the thought process on WR's is just pump the shit out of speed/agility. Thats one way to potentially have a good WR however the problem with that is it really relies on having the OC put you in the right situation to succeed. There are more than just one way to build a WR. Just a few highlights from the last game Cassius Clay played in.

The advice I would give you all is:
Find a team and stick with that team. Talk to the OC about how he plans to use you, how you are going to build your WR, and you will have a much better chance at being successful. There are multiple ways to build a good WR. I would argue that for a "team" the speed WR build is not actually the most useful of builds.

Well there's no denying that Cassius Clay is a beast and well built WRs with high strength can work well, but I'm gonna stick to building my WRs in alternative fashions (but not necessarily just speed WRs).

Accurate, very good target assessment, and probably a good scrambler because he'll need time looking for an open man or knowing which receiver is most reliable at what point.
Obviously this only applies when you're playing good pass defenses.

Excluding off the field issues is a big exclusion, but if you are to do it (and assume the same point in their respective careers) i would think Owens and Moss battle for the top slot. Boldin and Fitz play pretty close to equal in my mind, though at this stage I would take Fitz too because he's the flavor of the month receiver
