It's only one game, I'm sure those guys will adjust as season goes along. First game is always hard to prepare since there are little games to scout on, it's a long season ahead.

Interleague play is similar to league championship games in that respect. You aren't familiar with the other team and you never know what they are going to throw at you since preseason games give you very little info.

I just think it's funny a newly promoted former USA AAA2 team did what no OPL team could do in 4 seasons...beat you guys.
The Slashers are a great team no doubt. I just think it reflects more on the strength of USA than it does negatively on WSI. I'm sure nobody is taking you guys lightly still.
Many of us have been saying the USA AAA leagues could beat many Pro teams from other regions. Just good to see it actually happen. No offense to WSI

I thought WSI was gonna definitely make the playoffs. Looks like they'll have to battle. The Slashers are a solid team but it was their first game in usapl. WSI still has to play mem, ww, mm, txr, compton. They'll probably bounce back but i guess too much credit was given to them early.
Big win for the slashers though. They're definitely ready to compete up here. Not looking forward to playing them this season. USA AAA2 the past 3 seasons is as good as any non-us (maybe canada) pro league out there.

This may apply to other AAA leagues though. I just have always held that the top 10-20 USA AAA (both leagues) teams can beat most non-USA Pro teams...but at this point I don't think it applies fully anymore.
Still vastly superior to any other country's AAA though.
