I know at least one of the teams I'm on has been using scrims to goof around with tactics like 100% blitz, 100% pass etc.I'm guessing he was talking about the Pushovers on that one? Cause yea, we tried some really screwy tactics in our first one, learned something new, then tried isolate that variable and see how that kind of tactic would work for the second one. We also tried playing backups as starters to see how they do against higher level competition, tried one of our Safeties as a kick returner (which, while it did not work very well, actually taught us a bit of how to improve our normal kick returner).
And through all that, we went 1-1.
Generally, though, I think the level of competition we saw on both sides once the playoffs got started really shows that in their own ways, both conferences are equal. I just hope some of the gutted/repurchased teams want to move down and some others want to move up, so we can get even more competition sooner.
